Abstract

Di Indonesia, terdapat sekitar 40.000 kasus amputasi baru
setiap tahunnya. Harga tangan buatan untuk penderita amputasi
masih relatif mahal untuk kalangan menengah ke bawah. Dalam
mengontrol tangan buatan terdapat metode kontrol seperti
menggunakan Electromyography (EMG). Pada tugas akhir ini,
dilakukan perancangan tangan buatan, pembacaan sinyal otot
menggunakan sistem EMG, serta penerjemahan sinyal otot
menjadi sebuah perintah gerakan. Dari hasil perancangan dan
pengujian, perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak yang dibangun
dapat mendeteksi sinyal pada otot menggunakan mekanisme
Surface EMG, aplikasi telah dapat menampilkan pembacaan
sinyal otot dan mengategorikannya berdasarkan jari mana yang
bergerak, perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak yang dibangun
mampu meniru gerakan tangan pengguna, serta perangkat keras
dan perangkat lunak masih sulit untuk 100% membedakan jari
mana yang bergerak dikarenakan adanya noise dari bagian otot
lain pada lengan

In Indonesia, there are approximately 40,000 new cases of
amputations each year. Prosthetic hands prices for amputees still
relatively expensive for the middle to lower people. In control an
artificial hand there are methods of control such as using
Electromyography (EMG). In this thesis, is to design an artificial
hand, readings signal the muscles using EMG system, as well as
the translation of the signal into a command muscle movement.
From the result of design and testing, hardware and software are
built to detect a signal to the muscle using the mechanism of
Surface EMG, the application has to show readings signal the
muscles and mengategorikannya based on which finger moves, the
hardware and software that is built is able to mimic the movements
of the user's hands , as well as hardware and software 100% is still
difficult to distinguish which finger was moved due to the noise
from the other muscles in the arms
