Abstract

Sistem pengaturan nyala lampu lalu lintas yang ada kebanyakan menggunakan sistem pengaturan yang tetap untuk semua jalur jalan. Hal inilah yang dirasa kurang efektif dan berpotensi dapat menyebabkan kemacetan lalu lintas, karena kondisi kepadatan disetiap jalur yang berbeda. Untuk itu dirancang suatu sistem pengendalian lampu lalu lintas dengan menggunakan sensor infrared E18-D80NK sebagai detektor kondisi kepadatan pada suatu ruas jalan sehingga pengendalian lampu dilakukan menggunakan sistem sinyal interupsi yaitu nyala lampu diatur berdasarkan kondisi kepadatan suatu ruas jalan. Perancangan ini menggunakan PLC sebagai pengendali yaitu Cubloc MSB624RA. Adapun rancang bangun pengendalian lampu lalu lintas ini diaplikasikan sebagai Tugas Akhir dalam bentuk modul praktikum PLC untuk sarana penunjang dan pengembang praktikum mahasiswa. Sistem yang dibuat memiliki 4 buah masukan berupa pushbutton on, pushbutton stop, dan 2 buah sensor serta mengendalikan 6 buah keluaran berupa lampu. Telah dilakukan pengujian karakteristik statik sensor sensor infrared E18- D80NK “1” (detektor kondisi macet) yaitu mempunyai range sebesar 0.12V-4.78V, span sebesar 4.66 V, resolusi sebesar 0.01, dan sensitivitas sebesar 96%. Perhitungan karakteristik statik untuk sensor infrared E18- D80NK “2” (detektor kondisi macet parah) yaitu mempunyai range sebesar 0.16V-4.56V, span sebesar 4.40 V, resolusi sebesar 0.01, dan sensitivitas sebesar 91%. Hasil pengujian respon pengendalian timer dilakukan dengan membandingkan perhitungan waktu yang terdapat dalam cubloc plc dengan stopwatch manual dan didapatkan data respon yang baik karena error perhitungan yang didapatkan kecil yaitu kurang dari 2% =========================================================================================== Many nowadays traffic light control system are using static configuration for all lane. This thing is considered as not effective and have a potential to causing traffic jam, because of traffic density at every lane are different. For this purposes, specific traffic light control system are designed using infrared sensor E18-D80NK as traffic density sensor at every lane so light controlling is done by using interruption signal as light switching configuration is based on traffic density at particular lane. The design is using PLC as Control device. The type of PLC that used on this final project is Cubloc MSB624RA Embedded Computer “On Chip” This type of design is applied for Final Project in form of PLC practicum module for supporting facilities and student practicum development. The system itself has 4 input such as “on” push button, “stop” pushbutton, and 2 sensor that controlling 6 output in form of traffic light. There were experiment to test the timer control respond by comparing time calculation in the cubloc PLC with manual stopwatch and obtained good respond data because of the calculation error is less than 2%. The static characteristic experiment has been done for Infrared E18-D80NK sensor “1” (traffic jam detection sensor) the range is 0,12V-4,78V, span as big as 4,66V, resolution at 0,01 and sensitivity rated at 96%. Infrared E18- D80NK Sensor static characteristic calculation “2” (Severe traffic jam detection) is having range at 0,16V-4,56V, span at 4,40V, resolution at 0,02 and sensitivity rated at 91% . The timer cobtrol test result is done by comparing the time calculation in cubloc plc with manual stopwatch and the acquired data is indicating that the respond is good because the calculation error is less than 2%
