Abstract

Perencanaan Aktivitas Pemeliharaan dan Persediaan Suku Cadang menggunakan Reliability Centered Maintenance II dan Reliability Centered Spares pada PLTU Unit 3-4 PT PJB UP Gresik. ============================================================================================================================ Unit 3-4 of CFPP is one of PT PJB UP Gresik units that is in charge to produce electrical energy. Currently, the company has implemented 3 maintenance activities, there are preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and overhaul. Even though maintenance activities have been carried out, equipment failure still occurs and affects the total downtime. Also, maintenance activity planning has not yet considered the failure consequences of equipment. Therefore, to keep the equipment runs in normal condition, proactive maintenance activities are needed according to the failure consequences. One of supporting factors of maintenance is the availability of spare parts. Currently, the company still experience unavailability of spare parts. They need to borrow spare parts to other units which resulting longer downtime of equipment. This study aims to plan maintenance activities and spare parts inventory. The method used is Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II and Reliability Centered Spares (RCS). The study begins with determining critical equipment using System and Equipment Reliability Prioritization (SERP), evaluating the latest maintenance activities, compiling RCM II Information Worksheet, weighing the failure consequences, and developing RCM II Decision Worksheet. After that, identifying parts, developing RCS Worksheets, and calculating spare parts inventory. In this study, 10 critical equipment were selected that have the failure consequences priority, there are hidden failure, safety, environment, operation, and non-operation. RCM II Information Worksheet not only identifies failures that have occurred, but also potential failures that will occur. RCM II generates maintenance activities in accordance with the evaluation of current maintenance activities. Meanwhile, RCS can be an additional consideration in planning spare parts inventory by considering the maintenance aspects. But in its application, there are still some considerations that need to be considered to suit the company's conditions.
