Abstract

=========================================================
Health center is a public primary healthcare, considering that health is a necessity for us to do our daily activities. As a primary healthcare, Public Health Center plays a role in promoting health and provide facilities of prevention to any disease or illness. However, the implementation of this primary function of public health center appears to have shifted and focusing more on curing (curative) and rehabilitative program. The ease of access to curative programs provided by health policies also affects the public paradigm of the importance of health awareness. This phenomenon is also reinforced by the low public awareness of health. In the end, the paradigm of "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is increasingly shifting and the function of Public Health Center become less than optimal. Given this issue, public awareness about health is very important. Likewise, it is also important that a supportive environment is needed in optimizing the functions of the Community Health Center.
Human has tendency drawn to nature (biophilia). The application of biophilic elements can create an environment with a healing effect conveyed through the human senses. These healing effects can lead to increased productivity, reduce stress, and speed up the process of recovering from illness. Therefore, the healing environment was used as a design approach.
Regarding this issue of public awareness of health and optimization of health promotion, the Community Health Hub seeks to respond by connecting the surrounding community which include youth community, mothers and children, and the elderly to health promotion activities. In design applications, the tendency of human sensory towards nature is used as a reference in the application of biophilic elements to create a healing environment that increases public awareness of health.
