Abstract

Pengukuran akustik ruang membutuhkan sumber yang omnidirectional. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya, susunan geometri platonic solid atau RPL (Regular Polyhedron Loudspeaker) adalah susunan yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk dapat menghasilkan sumber yang omnidirectional. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis mengenai pola radiasi loudspeaker dan simulasi loudspeaker Polyhedron selain dodecahedron dengan ukuran driver yang digunakan adalah 4inch menggunakan bantuan software Comsol Multiphysics. Beberapa parameter yang menentukan kinerja loudspeaker Polyhedron adalah nilai omnidirectional cut-off frequency, frekuensi respon dan nilai tingkat tekanan bunyi untuk mengetahui kinerja dan batasan loudspeaker Polyhedral. Dengan menggunakan boundary berjarak 1,5 m didapatkan nilai omnidirectional cut-off frequency pada loudspeaker tetrahedron adalah 500Hz-630Hz, loudspeaker hexahedron adalah 1000Hz-1250Hz, loudspeaker octahedron dan icosahedron adalah 630Hz-800Hz. Frekuensi respon ditunjukkan dengan grafik frekuensi terhadap tingkat tekanan bunyi. Nilai tingkat tekanan bunyi untuk loudspeaker tetrahedron adalah 66dB – 98dB, loudspeaker hexahedron adalah 66dB-102dB, loudspeaker octahedron adalah 56dB hingga 110dB dan loudspeaker icosahedron adalah 72dB-114dB. Pola radiasi yang dihasilkan oleh speaker mempengaruhi nilai tingkat tekanan bunyi dan omnidirectional cut-off frequency dikarenakan besarnya energi yang terdisipasi kedalam bentuk energi vibrasi dan suara. ========================================================================================================= Room acoustic measurements require an omnidirectional source. Based on previous research, platonic solid or RPL (Regular Polyhedron Loudspeaker) geometry is an arrangement that can be applied to produce an omnidirectional source. In this research, an analysis of loudspeaker radiation patterns and polyhedral loudspeaker simulations with 4inchs driver using the Comsol Multiphysics software was carried out. Some parameters that are compared are omnidirectional cut-off frequency, response frequency and sound pressure level values to determine the performance and limits of Polyhedral loudspeakers. With 1,5m boundaries, the Omnidirectional cut-off frequency value in tetrahedron loudspeaker is 500Hz-630Hz, hexahedron is 1000Hz-1250Hz, octahedron and icosahedron are 630Hz-800Hz. The frequency of response is indicated by a frequency graph of the sound pressure level. Sound pressure level values for tetrahedron loudspeakers are 66dB - 98dB, hexahedron loudspeakers are 66dB-102dB, octahedron loudspeakers are 56dB to 110dB and icosahedron loudspeakers are 66dB-114dB. Sound pressure level and omnidirectional cut-off frequency are influenced by the amount of energy dissipated into the form of sound and vibrational energy.
