Abstract

Timbulan sampah di Kecamatan Candi adalah 317,8
3
m
kawasan komersial (Pasar Larangan). Pengukuran timbulan
dilakukan berdasarkan SNI 19-3964-1994. Timbulan sampah dari
kawasan komersial (pasar) yaitu 5765,1 kg/hari dengan komposisi
sampah organik yang dapat dikomposkan sebesar 67,72% dan
yang dapat dijadikan teknologi RDF sebesar 21,3%. Timbulan
Rp 5.739.727,- / tahun

Waste generation in Candi district is 317,8 m
3
/day
consisting of 40% of non household solid waste (SW) and 80% of
the waste is organic waste. The purposes of this research are to
calculate the generation rate and composition of solid waste, and
to estimate the potential and economic value of the organic waste
processing becomes compost and Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF).
Measurements in this research were generation, composition, and
density of organic solid waste in industrial centers area such as
tempe centers, duck farm, salted egg centers, mussels centers, and
commercial area (Larangan Market). The measurement was
based on SNI 19-3964-1994. The SW generation rate in the
commercial area (market) was 5765,1 kg/day with the
composition of organic waste that could be composted was
67,72% and used to RDF technologies was 21,3%. Generation of
organic solid waste from industrial centers was 26.580,2 kg/day,
that could be composted was 4507,0 kg/day or 16,96% consists
of soybean skin, duck manure, and ash and for RDF technology
was 22,2 kg/day or 0,08% consists of plastic and paper. Organic
solid waste from non household source that could be composted
was 3070,0 tons/year with result of total compost production was
983,5 tons/year and obtain as profit is Rp Rp 371.185.001,- / year,
whereas that could be used to RDF was 467,1 tons/year with total
of RDF production was 93,4 tons/year and obtain as profit is Rp
5.739.727,- / year
