Abstract

Supplier relationship management merupakan konsep strategis dalam membangun kolaborasi antara perusahaan dengan pemasoknya. Saat ini menjalin kolaborasi dengan pemasok dalam jangka panjang telah menjadi tantangan bagi perusahaan untuk unggul kompetitif di industrinya. Salah satu bentuk kolaboratif dengan pemasok yaitu perancangan program supplier development.
Tantangan tersebut sedang dihadapi oleh PT. Indo Prima Plastik. Selama ini dalam menjalin hubungan dengan pemasoknya, PT. Indo Prima Plastik melakukan pembelian secara rutin dengan jumlah yang terbatas dan sama untuk satu pemasok dengan pemasok lainnya. Namun cara ini kurang efisien karena terjadinya penumpukan material. Selain itu, saat ini kinerja pemasoknya sedang menurun. Tetapi, tindakan dari perusahaan juga kurang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja pemasoknya. Oleh karena itu, kebutuhan perancangan program supplier development ini diperlukan.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 4 tahap : (1) mengklasifikasikan pemasok penting berdasarkan tingkat kepentingan pembelian dan tingkat kompleksitas pasar pasokan; (2) memperoleh bobot setiap kriteria dan sub kriteria dengan menggunakan AHP untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pemasok; (3) mengidentifikasi masalah yang terjadi pada pemasok kritis dengan menggunakan fishbone diagram; (4) merancang program pengembangan pemasok melalui integrasi metode FMEA dan HOQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 6 kriteria dan 19 sub kriteria yang digunakan dalam supplier scorecard. Dan 3 dari 17 pemasok rutin diklasifikasikan sebagai pemasok kritis yang kinerjanya tidak sesuai dengan target perusahaan. Dari hasil analisis permasalahan yang dialami ketiga pemasok tersebut, terdapat 5 program supplier development yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh PT. Indo Prima Plastik terhadap supplier nya yaitu melakukan problem solving bersama, membentuk cross functional team, memberikan techinal training, melakukan knowledge sharing atau knowledge transfer activity dan melakukan pelatihan komunikasi interpersonal.

Supplier Relationship Management is a strategic concept in building collaboration between companies and their suppliers. Currently, collaborating with suppliers in the long term has become a challenge for companies to competitive advantage in their industries. One form of the collaboration with suppliers is by designing supplier development programs.
This challenges are being faced by PT. Indo Prima Plastik. During a relationship with their suppliers, PT. Indo Prima Plastik makes regular purchases in limited quantities and is the same for one supplier with another supplier. But this way is not efficient because there will be a buildup of materials. Then, the current supplier performance is declining. However, company actions are also less effective in improving the performance of its suppliers. So, the needs of designing the supplier development programs are needed.
This research is thus carried out in four stages: (1) classifying critical suppliers based on the purchase importance level and the complexity level of the supply market; (2) obtaining the weight of each criterion and sub-criterion using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method to evaluate supplier performance; (3) identifying the problems that occur in critical suppliers by using a fishbone diagram; (4) designing supplier development program through integration of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis with House of Quality method. The results show that there are six criteria and nineteen sub-criteria used in the supplier scorecard. Furthermore, three out of seventeen routine suppliers are classified as critical suppliers whose performance doesn't meet the company's target. From the analysis of the problems experienced by those three suppliers, there are five supplier development programs that can be implemented by PT. Indo Prima Plastik towards its suppliers : joint problem solving, forming cross-functional team, providing technical training, conducting knowledge sharing or knowledge transfer activities and conducting interpersonal communication training.
