Abstract

Masyarakat saat ini cenderung memilih penyimpanan dan transaksi lainnya dengan menggunakan jasa bank karena bank merupakan tempat penyimpanan dan transaksi yang paling aman. Menurut prinsip usahanya, bank dibedakan menjadi dua jenis yakni bank konvensional dan syariah. Bank konvensional merupakan bank yang menjalankan kegiatan usahanya secara konvensional sedangkan bank syariah merupakan bank yang menjalankan kegiatan usahanya berdasarkan prinsip syariah. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistika pada tahun 2019 tercatat bahwa jumlah bank konvensional lebih banyak dibandingkan bank syariah. Dilihat dari bentuk kegiatan usaha dan proses transaksi antara bank konvensional dan syariah jelas terdapat perbedaan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai kepuasan masyarakat terhadap bank konvensional dan bank syariah dengan mengambil studi kasus masyarakat di Kabupaten Sampang menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) untuk mengetahui dan melihat tingkat kepuasan dan faktor-faktor yang perlu diperbaiki untuk meningkatkan kepuasan. Hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa faktor yang perlu diperbaiki untuk meningkatkan kepuasan masyarakat Kabupaten Sampang pengguna bank konvensional dan bank syariah yakni tersedianya tempat parkir.

Today's society tends to choose storage and other transactions using the services of the bank because the bank is the safest place for storage and transactions. According to its business principles, bank are divided into two types, namely conventional and islamic banks. Conventional bank are bank that carry out their business activities conventionally, while islamic banks are banks that carry out their business activities based on sharia principles. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency in 2019, it was noted that the number of conventional banks was more than islamic banks. Judging from the form of business activities and transaction processes between conventional and islamic banks, there are clear differences. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on public satisfaction with conventional and islamic banks by taking a case study of the community in Sampang district using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to find out and see the level of satisfaction and the factors that need to be improved to increase satisfaction. The results of the analysis concluded that the factors that need to be improved to increase the satisfaction of the people of Sampang district using conventional and islamic banks are the availability of parking spaces.
