Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia industri semakin canggih, seperti halnya persoalan packing produk yang sekarang harus serba cepat dan tepat. Selama ini kebanyakan perusahaan hanya mengandalkan tenaga manusia yang terkadang lalai ataupun tidak bisa bekerja 24 jam tanpa henti. Sedangkan permintaan terus meningkat. Sehingga banyak perusahaan mulai berinvestasi untuk jangka panjang dan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi 4.0 untuk mendukung kemajuan perusahaannya. Dengan adanya kebutuhan yang demikian maka pembuatan proyek akhir ini bekerjasama dengan PT. Industrial Robotic Automation mendesain Automatic Case Packer System Machine. Diharapkan dengan adanya mesin ini, maka tingkat produksi akan semakin meningkat dan semua datanya secara otomatis dapat terrekam di HMI. Candy Case Packer Machine ini memanfaatkan kecanggihan robot parallel atau bisa juga disebut dengan delta robot 3 axis (Hornet 565) karena memiliki 3 lengan dan pergerakan arahnya yaitu axis X, Y dan Z. Robot ini nantinya akan terhubung dengan Smart Controller EX, selanjutnya IPC akan berkomunikasi dengan PLC dan juga SCEX menggunakan komunikasi ethernet. Sehingga semuanya saling terhubung. Dari hasil sistem tersebut, diperoleh hasil yang maksimal berupa tercapainya target sesuai dengan hitungan dan melebihi proses produksi dengan menggunakan tenaga manusia. Desain mesin tidak banyak memakan tempat, karena menggunakan delta robot, sehingga jumlah produksinya bisa semakin banyak, cepat dan tepat. Dan juga hasil aktualnya sudah tercapai 70 bag/menit dengan kecepatan robotnya yaitu 95%. Sedangkan untuk hasil simulasi target tersebut bisa tercapai dengan speed 90%. Hal ini disebabkan pada hardware mesin terkadang mengalami trouble yang menyebabkan adanya kemacetan ataupun getaran mesin yang terlalu keras sehingga kinerja robot kurang maksimal.

Technological developments in the industrial world are increasingly sophisticated, as is the issue of product packaging which now has to be fast and precise. So far, most companies only rely on human workers who are sometimes negligent or unable to work 24 hours non-stop. Meanwhile, demand continues to increase. So many companies are starting to invest for the long term and follow the development of technology 4.0 to support the progress of their companies. With such a need, the making of this final project in collaboration with PT. Industrial Robotic Automation designs the Automatic Case Packer System Machine. It is hoped that with this machine, the production level will increase and all data can be automatically recorded in HMI. This Candy Case Packer Machine utilizes the sophistication of a parallel robot or can also be called a 3 axis delta robot (Hornet 565) because it has 3 arms and its movement direction is the X, Y and Z axis. This robot will later be connected to the Smart Controller EX, then the IPC will communicate with PLC as well as SCEX using ethernet communication. So everything is connected. From the results of the system, maximum results are obtained in the form of achieving targets according to the calculation and exceeding the production process using human power. The machine design does not take up much space, because it uses a delta robot, so the amount of production can be increased, quickly and precisely. And also the actual results have reached 70 bags/minute with the robot speed of 95%. As for the simulation results, the target can be achieved with a speed of 90%. This is because the machine hardware sometimes experiences trouble which causes congestion or machine vibrations that are too loud so that the robot's performance is less than optimal.
