Abstract

Laboratorium memegang peranan penting dan strategis dalam mendukung kegiatan akademik di perguruan tinggi yang merupakan sarana bagi mahasiswa dan dosen dalam melakukan kegiatan pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pranata Laboratorium adalah jabatan fungsional dalam dunia pendidikan yang sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Laboran dan Teknisi. Pranata Laboratorium Pendidikan (PLP) adalah jabatan yang mempunyai ruang lingkup tugas, tanggung jawab, dan wewenang untuk melakukan pengelolaan laboratorium pendidikan yang diduduki oleh Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) dengan hak dan kewajiban yang diberikan secara penuh oleh pejabat yang berwenang. Tujuan penelitian adalah melakukan analisa beban kerja dan Menentukan kebutuhan tenaga Pranata Laboratorium Pendidikan menggunakan workload analysis. Metode penelitian analisa kebutuhan sumber daya manusia berdasarkan workload analisis. Dari penelitian didapatkan hasil analisa antara workload analisys dan Kompetensi dapat ditarik hasil bahwa terdapat 26 pegawai yang ada. Terdapat 22 pegawai memiliki kompetensi sesuai kondisi ideal, sehingga dibutuhkan penambahan 5 Pegawai yang memiliki Kompetensi sesuai kondisi ideal dan melakukan rotasi atau penggeseran 4 SDM dari listing yang ada (SDM yang kurang kompeten) untuk pengelolaan laboratorium yang optimal dan professional.

The laboratory plays an important and strategic role in supporting academic activities in higher education which is a means for students and lecturers to carry out educational, research, and community service activities. Laboratory Pranata is a functional position in the world of education which was previously known as Laboratory Assistant and Technician. Education Laboratory Institution (PLP) is a position that has the scope of duties, responsibilities, and authority to manage the educational laboratory occupied by Civil Servants (PNS) with the rights and obligations given in full by the authorized official. The purpose of this research is to analyze the workload and determine the needs of the Education Laboratory Institution staff using workload analysis. The research method of analyzing human resource needs is based on workload analysis. From the research, the results of the analysis between workload analysis and competence can be drawn as a result that there are 26 existing employees. There are 22 employees who have competencies according to ideal conditions, so it is necessary to add 5 employees who have competencies according to ideal conditions and rotate or shift 4 human resources from existing listings (less competent human resources) for optimal and professional laboratory management.
