Abstract

Persaingan antar industri semakin meningkat terutama pada era globalisasi dimana teknologi dan perekonomian yang semakin berkembang membuat perusahaan mencari cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas produknya sehingga mampu bersaing mendapatkan konsumen, salah satu caranya adalah pengendalian kualitas. Diagram kontrol merupakan salah satu alat dalam pengendalian kualitas. Penelitian ini menerapkan diagram kontrol Maximum Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (Max-EWMA) dan diagram kontrol Maximum Double Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (Max-DEWMA) dengan Modified Fast Initial Response (MFIR). Kemudian dibandingkan diagram kontrol Max-EWMA, Max-DEWMA, Max-EWMA MFIR, dan Max-DEWMA MFIR pada pengendalian kualitas proses produksi oil seal high press di CV. Muhsin Jaya. Berdasarkan hasil analisa pada penelitian ini didapatkan diagram kontrol Max-EWMA MFIR memberikan hasil yang lebih sensitif sebesar 36,67% daripada diagram kontrol Max-EWMA, Max-DEWMA, dan Max-DEWMA MFIR berdasarkan jumlah data yang out of control.

Industry rivalry has increased especially during globalization era where technology and economy that grow causes company to find a way to increase their product’s quality so they will be able to compete to find consumer, one of those method is quality control. Control chart is known as one of the tool quality control methods. This project uses Maximum Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (Max-EWMA) control chart and Maximum Double Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (Max-DEWMA) control chart with Modified Fast Intial Response (MFIR). Next, it will be compare the Max-EWMA, Max-DEWMA, Max-EWMA MFIR, and Max-DEWMA MFIR control chart to oil seal high press process quality control at CV. Muhsin Jaya. According to the analusis result in this project, it can be concluded that the Max-EWMA MFIR control chart produce more sensitive result around 36,67% compares to Max-EWMA, Max-DEWMA, and Max-DEWMA MFIR control chart based on the amount of the out of control data.
