Abstract

Indocast Fransasia Sejahtera.

Corrosion is a natural phenomenon that is destructive, dangerous, and causes great losses. One of the corrosion prevention methods is cathodic protection using a sacrificial anode. One of the standard practices used to design this cathodic protection is DnVGL-RPB401. The efficiency of the anode can be determined by testing the DnVGL-RPB401. This research was conducted to make a sacrificial anode efficiency test kit with the DnVGL-RPB401 standard. In this research, the test was carried out using Aluminum as anode and using variations in electrolyte volume, namely 7 liters, 10 liters, and 15 liters. The efficiency results obtained for volume 7, 10, and 15 liters were 96.595%, 94.468%, and 92.694% for the Al-ICS anode and 87.855%, 80.559%, 70.774% for the Corrosion Al-Lab anode. The test results of the redesigned circuit approach the test equipment at PT. Indocast Fransasia Sejahtera
