Abstract

Cerita rakyat adalah ekspresi budaya melalui narasi, lelucon, kepercayaan, peribahasa, legenda, mitos, musik, lagu, tarian, kostum, makanan, dan festival. Hal ini membantu individu dan komunitas membentuk dan menyebarkan identitas bersama. Namun, cerita rakyat tradisional telah memudar seiring berjalannya waktu, dengan banyak orang hanya memiliki pengetahuan yang dangkal karena lebih memilih untuk menonton film atau membaca komik di ponsel mereka. Untuk membuat cerita rakyat lebih menarik, dibuatlah aplikasi AR Trading Card Games (TCG) menggunakan Unity. Pada aplikasi ini akan berpusat pada salah satu cerita rakyat khas pulau Bali, yaitu “Calonarang”. Dengan adanya gim ini pemain akan dapat memainkan kartu karakter cerita rakyat pada dunia augmented reality. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah didapat dari pengujian, aplikasi ini berhasil meningkatkan minat pemainnya dengan cukup signifikan.

Folklore is a cultural expression through narratives, jokes, beliefs, proverbs, legends, myths, music, songs, dances, costumes, food, and festivals. This helps individuals and communities form and spread a common identity. However, traditional folklore has faded over time, with many people having only superficial knowledge due to preferring to watch movies or read comics on their phones. To make folklore more interesting, an AR Trading Card Games (TCG) application was created using Unity. This application will focus on one of the typical folklore of the island of Bali, namely "Calonarang". With this game, players will be able to play folklore character cards in the augmented reality world. Based on the results that have been obtained from testing, this application has managed to increase the interest of its players quite significantly.
