Abstract

Perkembangan bisnis digital di Indonesia memicu persaingan antar UMKM yang semakin ketat. Rendahnya pengetahuan dalam penggunaan e-business membuat adopsi teknologi yang dilakukan kurang efektif yang secara besar berimbas pada minimnya sumbangsih PDB nasional dari bisnis digital. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi lebih jauh pengaruh sikap entrepreneurial orientation dan e-business use terhadap SMEs performance, dengan fokus pada UMKM binaan Solo Technopark menggunakan metode PLS-SEM. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurial orientation memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan lemah terhadap SMEs performance. Namun, penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa adanya e-business use dapat menambah pengaruh yang dihasilkan oleh entrepreneurial orientation terhadap SMEs performance menjadi signifikan kuat. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan praktis dalam meningkatkan kinerja UMKM dan kontribusi terhadap penelitian berikutnya.

The growth of digital business in Indonesia has intensified competition among SMEs. Low knowledge in e-business adoption and ineffective technology utilization have significantly impacted the contribution of digital business to the national GDP. This study explores the impact of Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) and e-business use on SMEs performance, focusing on SMEs affiliated with Solo Technopark using PLS-SEM methodology. The study finds that EO has a weak but significant direct effect on SMEs performance. However, it also reveals that the incorporation of e-business use strengthens the impact of EO on SMEs performance, making it significantly strong. The findings of this research are intended to provide practical guidance for enhancing SME performance and contribute to future research in this field.
