Abstract

The Indonesian tourism industry will experience significant development throughout 2023. Indonesia has super priority tourist destinations to increase visits to various tourist destinations, one of which is Kuta Beach in NTB. However, the intensity of visitors to Kuta Beach in NTB is still small and has not experienced a significant increase. This is due to differences in tourists' motivations in choosing tourist destinations. It is known that tourists' emotions can also influence post-consumption behavior in marine or beach tourism destinations. This research wants to know the influence of tourists' emotional experience on their intention to visit again which is mediated by satisfaction at the marine tourism destination Kuta Beach in NTB. This research uses quantitative methods through surveys distributed using Google Form. The respondents of this research were domestic tourists who had visited the NTB Kuta Beach destination. Research data was processed using PLS-SEM. The research results show that the dimensions of tourist emotional experience (joy and positive surprise) have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Then, the dimension (love) has a positive and significant effect on revisit intention. Also, satisfaction mediates the influence of tourist emotional experience on revisit intention. It is hoped that the results and recommendations of this research can contribute to improving the sustainability of the tourism sector and research in similar fields.
