Abstract

Potensial listrik sistem geometri kartesian dapat dianalisa dengan pendekatan koordinat polar. Ada berbagai faktor yang menentukan dalam pendekatan ini. Beberapa penelitian tentang faktor-faktor ini telah dilakukan, yaitu faktor jumlah titik sampel potensial listrik, faktor jumlah suku fourier, dan faktor jari-jari lingkaran syarat batas. Dalam penelitian ini, faktor yang diteliti adalah pengaruh pemilihan potensial listrik. Potensial listrik tersebut berupa sebuah fungsi. Fungsi-fungsi yang digunakan adalah fungsi konstan, fungsi linier, fungsi kuadrat, dan fungsi periodik. Ada beberapa tahap yang harus dilakukan yaitu perhitungan analitik dalam koordinat kartesian, kemudian perhitungan pada pendekatan polar, lalu dilakukan perbandingan antara keduanya dengan menghitung selisihnya. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan polar cukup baik digunakan untuk menghitung potensial listrik sistem geometri kartesian karena selisihnya mendekati nol. Untuk potensial listrik fungsi konstan nilai selisihnya adalah 0,0003, fungsi linier selisihnya adalah 0,0028, fungsi kuadrat 0,0173, dan fungsi periodik nilai selisihnya adalah 0,0415. ========== Electric potential cartesian geometry systems can be analyzed with polar coordinates approach. There are various factors that determine the approach. Several research of these factors has been done, there are the number of sample points factor, the number of Fourier series factor, and the radius of the circle factor. In this research, the factor that studied is the electric potential selection. The electric potential is the function. The functions are the constant functions, linear functions, quadratic functions, and periodic functions. Several steps that must be done, there are analytic calculations in cartesian coordinates, the calculation of the polar approach, and do a comparison between the two by calculating the difference. From this research can be concluded that the polar approach used to calculate the electric potential cartesian geometry system is fairly well because the difference is close to zero. The difference of the electric potential constant function is 0.0003, the difference of linear function is 0.0028, for quadratic function is 0.0173, and the difference for a periodic function is 0.0415.
