Abstract

The growth of logistic and economic needs in Indonesia will certainly increase the chances of increasing traffic in the distribution of goods through railways in Kalimas Station. If the existing conditions of the loading and unloading equipment provided are maintained, the dry port will not be able to develop in the future. So that a reconfiguration of the facility for loading and unloading equipment is carried out to improve terminal performance. The selection of tools using the Analytical Hierarchy Process is carried out by considering four criteria, namely costs which are broken down into procurement costs, operational costs, yard development costs and maintenance costs, then development time, technical which includes specifications, flexibility, and equipment performance, as well as the last criteria namely environment effect. In the next step, a scenario is formed based on the arrangement of loading and unloading equipment with combination of crane and reach stacker to find out which arrangement has faster loading and unloading times by simulating ARENA software. Based on the results of simulation and selection based on the economic growth and increasing in traffic in Kalimas Station, the selected scenario is scenario 1.1 with loading and unloading time is 110.41 minutes with the chosen loading and unloading facility arrangement consisting of 1 unit of RMG, 3 units reach stacker, and 3 internal truck units.
