Abstract

Dalam suatu Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap (PLTGU) dimana setiap kerja peralatannya berputar dan menghasilkan panas, maka peran dari cooling system sangatlah penting. Di PLTGU Gresik terdapat peralatan Cooling System, salah satunya peralatan utama ialah Desalination Plant. Desalination plant adalah peralatan yang berfungsi mengubah air laut menjadi air tawar yang disebut distillate water dengan cara evaporasi dan kondensasi. Proses desalinasi pada PT.PJB UP Gresik menggunakan sistem once-through multistage flash evaporator with thermal vapor compression. Permasalahan yang dapat mempengaruhi penurunan kehandalan desalination plant PT. PJB UP Gresik, disebabkan oleh kualitas air laut seperti kotoran, lumpur dan endapan garam. Untuk mengurangi kandungan lumpur pada air laut dengan cara dilakukan penyaringan secara bertahap serata menjaga keandalan system penyaringan itu sendiri dengan cara melakukan pembersihan filter secara rutin. ========== In A Gas Fired Power Plant (PLTGU) Where the work every rotating equipment and produce heat, then the role of the cooling system is very important. in PLTGU Gresik Equipment Cooling System, Main Equipment is desalination plants. The desalination plant equipment is functioning to change the air fresh sea air being called with distillate water evaporation and condensation. Desalination process PT.PJB UP Gresik using System once - through multistage flash evaporator with thermal vapor compression. The problem may affect the decline in the desalination plant reliability PT. PJB UP Gresik, due to the quality of air sea such as manure, slurry and salt deposits. Ingredients to reduce sludge in the sea air with how to operate gradually filtering, keeping the filtration system reliability with how to perform routine cleaning the filter operating.
