Abstract

Masalah karyawan dialami oleh banyak perusahaan, termasuk PT. WG. Kantor Pusat PT. WG memiliki tingkat turnover tertinggi di antara semua lokasi PT. WG. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan hubungan antara pimpinan dan karyawan (Leader-Member Exchange - LMX) terhadap turnover intention karyawan di Kantor Pusat PT. WG. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk memberikan masukan kepada manajemen PT. WG mengenai hal-hal yang perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan LMX. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan data primer yang dikumpulkan menggunakan metode survei dalam bentuk kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis kesesuaian model dengan hipotesis yang telah diajukan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan LMX berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Oleh karena itu PT. WG perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan LMX. Untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, PT. WG dapat melakukan analisa beban kerja dan penilaian kinerja karyawan. PT. WG juga perlu melakukan sesi sosialisasi untuk menyadarkan peran karyawan terhadap keberhasilan perusahaan. Setiap atasan juga perlu membangun komunikasi, memberikan penghargaan serta tanggung jawab lebih kepada bawahannya. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, diharapkan PT. WG dapat menurukan tingkat turnover intention karyawannya di Kantor Pusat.

The problem of turnover is experienced by many companies, including PT. WG. Head office of PT. WG has the highest rate of turnover among all locations of PT. WG. This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and the relationship between leaders and the employees (Leader-Member Exchange - LMX) on employee turnover intention at the Head Office of PT. WG. It also aims to provide input to the management of PT. WG regarding things that need to be done to improve job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and LMX. This study uses a correlational method with primary data collected using a survey method in the form of a questionnaire. Collected data is analyzed the suitability of the model with the hypothesis that has been proposed. Based on research that has been done, it was found that job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and LMX have a significant effect on turnover intention. Therefore PT. WG needs to pay attention to factors that influence job satisfaction, organizational commitment and LMX. To increase job satisfaction, PT. WG can do workload analysis and performance appraisal. PT. WG also needs to conduct socialization sessions to make every employee aware their role to the company's success. Each leader also needs to establish communication, give rewards and more responsibility to his subordinates. With these steps, it is expected that PT. WG can reduce the level of employee turnover intention at the Head Office.
