Abstract

Menurut Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional/Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (PPN/Bappenas) diperkirakan industri konstruksi pada tahun 2021 akan tumbuh sebesar 5,2 persen hingga 6,7 persen. Departemen Energi & Industrial PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk sebagai salah satu lini bisnis PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk menyadari guna mewujudkan hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan organisasi atau perusahaan yang solid. Fenomena turnover intention menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan karena akan merugikan perusahaan dari berbagai aspek. Salah satu cara untuk menahan laju tingginya turnover intention karyawan yakni dengan meningkatkan keterikatan pada setiap individu karyawan terhadap organisasi yang disebut employee engagement. Selain itu job satisfaction juga disebut sebagai salah satu faktor yang dapat mengurangi angka turnover intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh employee engagement dan job satisfaction terhadap turnover intention di sebuah BUMN konstruksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kausal. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sumber daya manusia di Departemen Energi & Industrial PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk berjumlah 100 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang dibagikan secara online kepada responden. Data penelitian yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan software SPSS dan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa dedication dan absorption adalah dimensi yang paling berpengaruh dalam employee engagement, work itself dan promotion adalah dimensi yang paling berpengaruh dalam job satisfaction, employee engagement tidak berpengaruh terhadap turnover intention, dan job satisfaction berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya yaitu melihat permasalahan lebih mendalam, menggunakan metode penelitian, dan membuat kuisioner yang dapat menggambarkan keadaan sebenarnya dan dapat menjelaskan keberagaman data pada objek perusahaan sehingga akan menghasilkan penelitian selanjutnya yang lebih baik.

According to the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN / Bappenas), it is estimated that the construction industry in 2021 will grow by 5.2 percent to 6.7 percent. The Department of Energy & Industry of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk as one of the business lines of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk realizes that in order to make this happen, a solid organization or company is needed. The phenomenon of turnover intention is one of the problems that must be caused because it will harm the company from various aspects. One way to hold back the rate of employee turnover is to increase the attachment of each individual to the organization called employee engagement. In addition, job satisfaction is also mentioned as one of the factors that can reduce turnover intention. This study aims to identify the effect of employee involvement and job satisfaction on turnover intention in a construction BUMN. The research method used is quantitative with the type of causal research. The research sample used human resources in the Department of Energy & Industry of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires that were sent online to respondents. The collected research data were processed using SPSS software and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that dedication and absorption are the most influential dimensions in employee engagement, work itself and promotion are the most influential dimensions in job satisfaction, employee engagement has no effect on turnover intention, and job satisfaction has a negative effect on turnover intention. This study produces several suggestions for further research, namely looking at the problem more deeply, using research methods, and making questionnaires that can describe the actual situation and can explain the diversity of data on company objects so that it will produce better further research.
