Abstract
PT. Sawit Arum Madani yang terletak di Kabupaten Blitar merupakan salah satu industri pengolahan buah sawit menjadi minyak sawit mentah. Pabrik ini memiliki kapasitas produksi minyak sawit mentah sebesar 15 ton TBS/jam. Namun, minyak sawit yang dihasilkan memiliki kadar FFA yang tinggi, atau biasa disebut sebagai High Acid Crude Palm Oil, sehingga sejauh ini hasil produksi minyak sawit mentah PT. Sawit Arum Madani hanya digunakan sebagai campuran pakan ternak. Hal ini sangat disayangkan karena seharusnya, minyak sawit ini bisa diproses dan digunakan untuk membantu pemenuhan kebutuhan minyak goreng dalam negeri. Proses pengolahan minyak sawit mentah menjadi minyak goreng di Indonesia pada umumnya dapat mengurangi kadar nutrisi dalam minyak sawit itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu muncul metode Batchwise Solvent Extraction (BSE) sebagai alternatif pemurnian minyak sawit tanpa kehilangan nutrisi yang banyak. Menurut penelitian, metode BSE ini bisa menurunkan kadar FFA dari minyak sawit hingga 90%. Menggunakan metode BSE, diharapkan dapat menghasilkan produk Minyak Goreng Merah yang memenuhi Standar Nasional Indonesia. Pabrik minyak makan goreng HACPO ini berkapasitas 600 kg/hari dengan masa operasi selama 20 jam per hari dengan hari kerja 330 hari per tahun. Dari perhitungan analisa ekonomi, ditentukan harga jual minyak makan merah sebesar USD 5.185,49 per ton, Stearin seharga USD 911 per ton, PLF seharga USD 533,36 per ton, serta CPO Premium seharga USD 998,46 per ton. Adapun diperoleh Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 10,1%. Dengan IRR tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa pabrik layak untuk didirikan dengan suku bunga 8,05% per tahun berdasarkan suku bunga rata-rata Indonesia dengan pengembalian modal (Pay Out Time) selama 6 tahun 3 bulan. Perhitungan analisa didasarkan pada discounted cash flow. Modal untuk pendirian pabrik menggunakan 50 % modal sendiri dan 50 % modal pinjaman. Modal total yang dibutuhkan untuk mendirikan pabrik adalah sebesar Rp 33.810.560.234, sedangkan untuk Break Event Point (BEP) yang diperoleh adalah 37,18% dan Net Present Value (NPV) yang didapat sebesar Rp. 28.915.049.540,37. Dengan begitu, pabrik Minyak Goreng Merah Skala UMKM dari HACPO ini layak untuk didirikan.

PT. Sawit Arum Madani, located in Blitar Regency, is an industry processing palm fruits into crude palm oil (CPO). This factory has a production capacity of 15 tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour. However, the palm oil produced has a high Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content, known as High Acid Crude Palm Oil (HACPO), and so far, the crude palm oil produced by PT. Sawit Arum Madani is only used as a feed additive. This is unfortunate because ideally, this palm oil could be processed and used to help meet the domestic cooking oil needs. The processing of crude palm oil into cooking oil in Indonesia generally can reduce the nutritional content of the palm oil itself. Therefore, the Batchwise Solvent Extraction (BSE) method has emerged as an alternative for refining palm oil without significant nutritional loss. According to research, the BSE method can reduce the FFA content in palm oil by up to 90%. Using the BSE method, it is expected to produce Red Cooking Oil that meets the Indonesian National Standard. The HACPO cooking oil plant has a capacity of 600 kg/day with an operation time of 20 hours per day and 330 working days per year. From the economic analysis calculations, the selling price of red cooking oil is determined at USD 5,185.49 per ton, Stearin at USD 911 per ton, PLF at USD 533.36 per ton, and Premium CPO at USD 998.46 per ton. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 10.1%. This IRR indicates that the plant is feasible to establish with an interest rate of 8.05% per year, based on the average interest rate in Indonesia, and a payback period (Pay Out Time) of 6 years and 3 months. The analysis calculation is based on discounted cash flow. The capital for establishing the plant uses 50% equity and 50% loan. The total capital required to establish the plant is Rp 33,810,560,234, while the Break-Even Point (BEP) obtained is 37.18%, and the Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp 28,915,049,540.37. Thus, the MSME-scale Red Cooking Oil Plant from HACPO is feasible to be established.
