Abstract
Kebutuhan akan hunian saat ini meningkat dikarenakan meningkatnya taraf hidup masyarakat, sehingga meningkat pula jumlah penduduk dari kebutuhan hunian rumah tinggal dan hunian Kost menjadi salah dua fungsi bangunan yang digunakan. Rumah tinggal multifungsi di Kasturian, Kota Ternate dalam proyek perencanaan arsitektur 1 ini dari seorang klien yang menginginkan rumah tinggal yang memiliki ruang berkumpul yang besar serta terdapat usaha studio rias yang berdekatan dalam konsepnya rumah tinggal ini menerapkan tema Arsitektur Tropical Modern yang berfokus pada orientasi bangunan, teritisan atap lebar, pembayangan, sirkulasi dan permainan bentuk geometri.
Pada Proyek Perancangan Arsitektur 2 dengan Fungsi Kost-Kosan, menjadi kebutuhan tempat tinggal untuk para perantau atau pekerja khusus di daerah Gayungsari, Kota Surabaya dimana kondisi eksisting tapak yang tidak terlalu besar maka skema split level digunakan untuk memaksimalkan ruang dan sirkulasi. Dengan menerapkan konsep Industrialis Biofilik sebagai pendekatan sirkuasli udara, penghawaan, pencahayaan, lansekap dan material expos pada interior kamar kost tipe 2 maupun eksterior maka dari dua proyek tersebut diharapkan desain yang dihasilkan mampu menjawab kebutuhan hunian yang nyaman, aman, dan berkelanjutan sesuai lokasinya dan iklim setempat.

The need for housing is currently increasing due to the increase in people's living standards, so that the number of residents also increases, with the need for residential housing and boarding houses becoming one of the two functions of buildings used. This multifunctional house in Kasturian, Ternate City in Architectural Design Project 1 is from a client who wants a residence that has a large gathering space and there is a dressing studio business adjacent to it. In the concept of this residence, this residence applies a Modern Tropical Architecture theme which focuses on building orientation, wide roof eaves, shading, circulation and play of geometric shapes.
In the Architectural Design Project 2 with Boarding House Function, a place to live is needed for migrants or special workers in the Gayungsari area, Surabaya City, where the existing site is not too large, so a split level scheme is used to maximize space and circulation. By applying the Biophilic Industrialist concept as a circular approach to air, ventilation, lighting, landscaping and exposed materials in the interior of type 2 boarding rooms and the exterior, it is hoped that from these two projects the resulting design will be able to answer the needs of comfortable, safe and sustainable housing according to its location and local climate.
