Abstract

PT SIER merupakan perusahaan yang mengelola kawasan industri di pebatasan Surabaya dan Sidoarjo. Banyaknya pabrik-pabrik yang telah berdiri di Kawasan SIER, berpengaruh terhadap limbah yang diproduksi. Umumnya air limbah mengandung banyak bahan atau zat berbahaya yang sehingga dapat membahayakan kesehatan manusia serta mengganggu lingkungan hidup. Oleh karena itu, sebelum limbah tersebut dibebas alirkan ke alam bebas perlu dilakukan pengolahan yang menyeluruh dengan pengendalian kualitas statistika dengan karakteristik kualitas yang digunakan meliputi COD, TSS, dan pH. Adanya autokorelasi menyebabkan false alarm pada diagram kontrol sehingga pada penelitian ini digunakan diagram kontrol multivariat bersasis time series. Pada analisis time series diperoleh model terbaik yang terpilih adalah VAR(5), residual dari model tersebut digunakan untuk mengendalikan proses pengolahan air limbah. Hasil pengendalian proses pengolahan air limbah di Kawasan SIER menggunakan diagram kontrol MMECD dengan pembobot λ = 0,1 menunjukkan bahwa variabilitas proses pengolahan tidak terkendali secara statistik dan terjadi pergeseran proses. Kemudian, hasil mean pengendalian proses dengan diagram kontrol MEC, MEC1 dan MEC2 dimana MEC1 menggunakan pembobot λ = 0,1 dan k = 0,25 serta MEC2 menggunakan pembobot λ = 0,2 dan k = 1,25, didapati bahwa mean proses telah terkendali secara statistik. Hasil perbandingan diagram kontrol MEC1 dan MEC2 menunjukkan bahwa diagram kontrol MEC1 lebih sensitif dari pada diagram kontrol MEC2 karena memiliki jumlah OOC lebih banyak pada fase 1 dan nilai selisih mutlak yang lebih kecil pada fase 2. PT SIER is a company that manages industrial areas on the border of Surabaya and Sidoarjo. The large number of factories that have been established in the SIER Area has an
influence on the waste produced. Wastewater generally contains many hazardous substances that can endanger human health and disrupt the environment. Therefore, before discharging the waste into the environment, comprehensive treatment is necessary with statistical quality control using quality characteristics including COD, TSS, and pH. The presence of autocorrelation causes false alarms in the control chart, so this study was using a multivariate control chart based on time series. In the time series analysis, the best-selected model was VAR(5), and the residuals from this model were used to control the wastewater treatment process. The results of the wastewater treatment process control in the SIER area using the MMECD control chart with a weighting of λ = 0.1 indicate that the process variability is not statistically controlled and a process shift has occurred. Furthermore, the mean process control results with MEC—MEC1 and MEC2 control charts where MEC1 uses a weighting of λ = 0.1 and k = 0.25, and MEC2 uses a weighting of λ = 0.2 and k = 1.25—show that the process mean is statistically controlled. A comparison of the MEC1 and MEC2 control charts reveals that the MEC1 control chart is more sensitive than the MEC2 control chart because it has more OOC points in phase 1 and a smaller absolute difference value in phase 2. The wastewater treatment process in the SIER area is capable both univariately and multivariately.
