Abstract

PDAM Surya Sembada merupakan perusahaan pemerintah sebagai penyedia layanan air bersih di Kota Surabaya yang memiliki unit produksi di Ngagel salah satunya yaitu IPAM Ngagel I. Proses penjernihan air khususnya pada IPAM Ngagel I perlu diperhatikan karena hal tersebut berhubungan dengan kualitas air hasil produksi yang akan didistribusikan ke pelanggan, sehingga air yang dihasilkan harus memiliki kualitas yang baik dan sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pengendalian kualitas proses produksi air bersih di PDAM Surya Sembada khususnya pada unit produksi IPAM Ngagel I. Pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance (MEWMV) untuk monitor pergeseran variabilitas proses dan Multivariate Sign Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MSEWMA) untuk monitor pergeseran mean proses. Variabel karakteristik kualitas air yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kekeruhan, pH, sisa klor dan zat organik (KMnO_4) dimana masing – masing karakteristik kualitas saling berhubungan. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat autokorelasi pada data akibat dari proses yang dilakukan terus menerus dan melalui mesin yang sama sehingga analisis pengendalian kualitas menggunakan pendekatan model time series. Data penelitian dibagi menjadi dua fase pada musim hujan. Pada fase I didapatkan dari hasil analisis bahwa proses produksi air belum terkendali secara statistik baik secara variabilitas maupun mean proses sehingga diperlukan identifikasi karakteristik kualitas yang menyebabkan proses produksi belum terkendali secara statistik. Adapun karakteristik kualitas yang diduga sebagai penyebab belum terkendalinya proses produksi air pada fase I adalah karakteristik kualitas pH, zat organik dan sisa klor. Analisis pada fase II didapatkan bahwa proses produksi air telah terkendali secara statistik baik secara variabilitas maupun mean proses. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kapabilitas proses, secara univariat, terdapat karakteristik kualitas yang memiliki tingkat keakurasian yang kurang dalam memenuhi batas spesifikasi perusahaan, yaitu karakteristik zat organik dan sisa klor. Sedangkan kapabilitas proses secara multivariat, proses produksi telah kapabel dan kinerja proses memiliki keakurasian yang cukup baik.

PDAM Surya Sembada is a government company that provides clean water services in Surabaya City, with one of its production units located in Ngagel, namely IPAM Ngagel I. The water purification process, particularly at IPAM Ngagel I, needs to be given special attention as it is related to the quality of the produced water that will be distributed to customers. Therefore, the water produced must have good quality and comply with the established standards. Hence, it is necessary to implement quality control in the clean water production process at PDAM Surya Sembada, specifically at the IPAM Ngagel I production unit. In this study, the Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Variance (MEWMV) method will be used to monitor shifts in process variability, and the Multivariate Sign Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MSEWMA) method will be used to monitor shifts in the process mean. The water quality characteristics variables used in this study are turbidity, pH, residual chlorine, and organic matter (KMnO_4), where each quality characteristic is interrelated. Analysis shows that there is Autocorrelation in the data due to the continuous process and using the same machine, thus the quality control analysis uses a time series model approach. The research data is divided into two phases during the rainy season. In phase I, the analysis results indicate that the water production process is not statistically controlled in terms of both variability and process mean, thus requiring identification of the quality characteristics that cause the production process to be statistically uncontrolled. The quality characteristic suspected to cause the water production process to be uncontrolled in phase I is the pH, organic substances and residual chlorine characteristic. Analysis in phase II shows that the water production process is statistically controlled in terms of both variability and process mean. Based on the process capability analysis results, on a univariate basis, there is a quality characteristic that lacks accuracy in meeting the company's specification limits, which is the organic substances and residual chlorine characteristic. Meanwhile, on a multivariate basis, the production process is capable, and the process performance has fairly good accuracy.
