Abstract
Multimedia menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, terutama bidang entertainment. Salah satu alternatif teknologi multimedia baru yang menarik saat ini adalah Mixed Reality. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, sistem Mixed Reality dibangun menggunakan banyak kamera yang dipasang pada setiap sudut ruangan. Keberadaan objek virtual 3 dimensi juga sangat bergantung dengan keberadaan dan kualitas marker. Salah satu alternatif metode untuk memberikan kemudahan terhadap pengguna dalam membangun aplikasi multimedia berbasis Mixed Reality adalah Depth Analysis. Pada penelitian ini, Depth Analysis digunakan untuk membangun sistem 3D Mixed Reality. Skenario sistem ini tidak membutuhkan banyak kamera dan marker untuk melakukan pose estimation objek virtual 3 dimensi. Sistem ini dimulai dengan deteksi objek nyata, identifikasi posisi objek dalam koordinat dunia, implementasi Augmented Virtuality dengan constraint tertentu serta implementasi Augmented Reality. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat memvisualisasikan Mixed Reality berbasis Depth Analysis dengan catatan yaitu hilangnya beberapa piksel citra yang jumlahnya bergantung pada jarak objek terhadap kamera

Multimedia becomes very important in many aspects of life, especially the field of entertainment. Nowadays, one alternative to this exciting new multimedia technology is the Mixed Reality. In a previous study, Mixed Reality system was built using many cameras are mounted on each corner of the room. The existence of three-dimensional virtual objects are very dependent on the availability and quality of markers. One alternative method to provide convenience to the users in building multimedia applications based Mixed Reality is the Depth Analysis. In this study, Depth Analysis is used to build 3D Mixed Reality system. The scenario of this system does not require a lot of cameras and markers to do the pose estimation of 3-dimensional virtual objects. This system begins with a real object detection, identification of the object's position in world coordinates, the implementation of Augmented Virtuality with certain constraints as well as implementation of Augmented Reality. The test results show that the system can visualize the Mixed Reality based on Depth Analysis with a note that the loss of some image pixels whose number depends on the distance of the object to the camera.
