Abstract
Kebutuhan akan transportasi menjadi penting saat ini sejalan dengan kebutuhan perawatan transportasi tersebut. ASSA Rent Malang sebagai salah satu penyedia layanan jasa rental kendaraan juga menyadari akan hal itu. Proses maintenance kendaraan secara berkala menjadi fokus utama untuk dioptimalkan sebagai salah satu inti layanan jasa yang dilakukan perusahaan. Namun berdasarkan data terbaru beberapa target seperti perawatan berkala yang dilakukan internal dan secara tepat waktu masih cukup fluktuatif dan belum mencapai target. Selain itu terjadi over cost pada perawatan berkala di beberapa kategori kendaraan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan akar permasalahan dan kendala pada proses maintenance tersebut untuk selanjutnya memberikan rencana perbaikan dan improvement yang dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan prinsip Lean Six Sigma berfokus pada pengidentifikasian 7 waste melalui proses DMAIC. Process Mapping dilakukan untuk mengolah data menjadi alur proses yang jelas dan dapat dianalisis. Root Cause Analysis digunakan sebagai alat untuk menemukan akar permasalahan agar didapatkan upaya perbaikan yang efektif untuk proses maintenance. Sehingga proses maintenance di ASSA Rent Malang dapat berjalan lebih optimal dengan memaksimalkan efektivitas biaya dan sumber daya untuk mencapai target serta dapat memberikan layanan yang terbaik untuk pelanggannya. Setelah dilakukan penelitian ditemukan 3 waste dalam kategori inventory, motion, dan waiting. Penyebab waste tersebut antara lain akibat tidak adanya penjadwalan maintenance, keterbatasan Technical Support (TS) yang stand by, lahan parkir yang terbatas, tidak berfungsinya alat komunikasi TS dan Service Advisor (SA), tidak adanya partman/helper, tidak dibuatnya strategi servis kendaraan, terbatasnya akses keluar masuk stall akibat penumpukan kendaraan, dan tidak adanya pembaharuan data stok suku cadang. Upaya perbaikan dan rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah perbaikan terhadap penjadwalan, penambahan sumber daya manusia, perubahan atas tata letak, asesmen bulanan tim maintenance, penggunaan kembali alat komunikasi SA dan TS, dan pembaharuan data stok suku cadang kendaraan.

The need for transportation becomes important today in line with the need for maintenance of the transportation. ASSA Rent Malang as one of the vehicle rental service providers, is also aware of this. The process of periodic vehicle maintenance is the main focus to be optimized as one of the core services carried out by the company. However, based on the latest data, several targets such as periodic maintenance carried out internally and in a timely manner are still quite volatile and have not reached the target. In addition, there is an over cost of periodic maintenance in several categories of vehicles. This research was conducted to find the root of the problems and obstacles in the maintenance process to further provide improvement plans and improvements that can be made. This research was conducted using Lean Six Sigma principles focusing on identifying 7 wastes through the DMAIC process. Process Mapping is done to process data into a clear process flow and can be analyzed. Root Cause Analysis is used as a tool to find the root of the problem to obtain effective repair efforts for the maintenance process. So that the maintenance process at ASSA Rent Malang can run more optimally by maximizing cost-effectiveness and resources to achieve targets and can provide the best service for its customers. After doing the research found 3 wastes in the categories of inventory, motion, and waiting. The causes of the waste include the absence of maintenance scheduling, limited Technical Support (TS) on stand-by, limited parking space, malfunctioning of TS and Service Advisor (SA) communication tools, no partman/helper, no vehicle service strategy, limited access in and out of the stall due to the accumulation of vehicles, and the absence of updating spare parts stock data. Improvement efforts and recommendations given include improvements to scheduling, addition of human resources, changes to the layout, monthly assessments of the maintenance team, reuse of SA and TS communication tools, and updating of vehicle spare parts stock data.
