Abstract

Konveksi Dewata Kaos merupakan salah satu usaha mikro kecil dan menengan atau UMKM yang bergerak di bidang produksi pakaian jadi. Konveksi Dewata Kaos memproduksi beberapa jenis produk pakaian siap jadi seperti contohnya baju kaos, celana training, kemeja, dan lain-lain yang dipasarkan di pasar skala nasional. Pada proses produksinya, baju kaos merupakan salah satu produk yang memiliki jumlah produksi tertinggi di perusahaan, namun masih memiliki angka defect dan tingkat ketercapaian produksi paling rendah dibandingkan dengan produk lainnya. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan kondisi eksisting, didapatkan bahwa sigma level perusahaan hanya sebesar 3,51. Dilakukan analisis menggunakan pareto chart yang menghasilkan dua jenis defect utama dari proses produksi baju kaos, yaitu defect overdect, dan DTF failure. Kedua defect utama tersebut dilakukan analisis menggunakan metode Root Cause Analysis yang bertujuan untuk mencari defect kritis dari defect utama tersebut. Tiap-tiap permasalahan yang didapatkan dilakukan penilaian menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis untuk menilai permasalahan mana yang menjadi aspek paling kritis. Setelah didapatkannya aspek paling kritis, dilakukan pemberian solusi terhadap setiap defect utama, yang dimana selanjutnya setiap solusi akan dilakukan kombinasi alternatif. Beberapa kombinasi alternatif tersebut dilakukan pembobotan terhadap kriteria yang diperlukan oleh perusahaan menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process. Setelah didapatkan value terhadap beberapa kombinasi alternatif, dilakukan perhitungan cost untuk mengetahui berapa total biaya yang diakibatkan oleh penerapan proses improvement dari beberapa pilihan kombinasi alternatif tersebut. Dilakukan perbandingan terhadap value dan cost menggunakan metode Value Engineering. Setelah didapatkan kombinasi alternatif terbaik, dilakukan penilaian nilai sigma kondisi improvement dan didapatkan peningkatan nilai sigma sebesar 0,29 sehingga nilai sigma improvement menjadi 3,80.

Dewata Kaos Convection is one of the small and medium micro-enterprises or MSMEs engaged in producing apparel. Konveksi Dewata Kaos produces several types of ready-made clothing products, such as t-shirts, training pants, shirts, and others which are marketed on a national scale. In the production process, T-shirts are one of the products with the highest number of productions in the company, but still have the highest defect rate and the lowest level of production achievement compared to other products. After calculating the existing conditions, it was found that the company-level sigma was only 3.51. An analysis was carried out using a Pareto Chart which resulted in two main types of defects from the tshirt production process: defect Overdect and DTF failure. The Root Cause Analysis method analyzed the two primary defects to find critical defects from the primary ones. Each problem obtained is assessed using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method to assess which problems are the most critical aspects. After obtaining the most critical aspects, a solution is provided for each significant defect, wherein each solution will be combined with alternatives. Several alternative combinations are weighted against the criteria required by the company using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. After obtaining the value for several alternative combinations, a cost calculation is carried out to determine the total cost caused by the implementation of the improvement process from the several alternative combination choices. A comparison of value and cost is carried out using the Value Engineering method. After obtaining the best alternative combination, an assessment of the sigma value of the improvement condition was carried out, and an increase in the sigma value of 0.29 so that the sigma improvement value became 3.80.
