Abstract
Peningkatan kualitas dan konsistensi produksi menjadi hal krusial bagi industri baja nasional dalam menjawab tingginya permintaan pasar dan menjamin keselamatan konstruksi. PT Gunawan Dianjaya Steel, sebagai salah satu produsen plat baja terkemuka di Indonesia, terus berupaya mengendalikan mutu produknya, khususnya pada jenis plat baja AS3678. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kapabilitas proses produksi, mengidentifikasi penyebab ketidaksesuaian produk, serta menilai potensi risiko kegagalan yang terjadi selama proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah peta kendali multivariat analisis MANOVA. Selain itu, diagram sebab-akibat digunakan untuk menggambarkan potensi akar masalah, dan metode Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) diterapkan untuk memprioritaskan penanganan risiko berdasarkan tingkat keparahan, kemungkinan terjadinya, dan kemampuan deteksi. Data dibagi menjadi dua fase, fase pertama bertujuan untuk melihat proses produksi awal sedangkan pada fase kedua digunakan untuk melihat pergesaran proses pada produk. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa proses kapabel pada parameter Yield Strength dan Tensile Strength, sedangkan Elongation masih belum kapabel. Ketidaksesuaian terutama disebabkan oleh faktor mesin dan pengukuran, yang mengakibatkan variasi produk semakin besar sehingga diperlukan peningkatan akurasi alat ukur serta kestabilan kinerja mesin. FMEA menunjukkan risiko tertinggi pada tahap pemanasan, pemotongan akhir, dan pengujian tarik, sehingga di rekomendasikan agar peralatan dilakukan kalibrasi peralatan, penegakan SOP, dan peningkatan kompetensi operator. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan dashboard digital interaktif yang bebrbasi real time , sehingga memungkinkan perusahaan dapat memantau kestabilan dan kapabilitas proses secara berkelanjutan serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data.

Improving the quality and consistency of production is crucial for the national steel industry in responding to high market demand and ensuring construction safety. PT Gunawan Dianjaya Steel, as one of the leading steel plate producers in Indonesia, continues to strive to control the quality of its products, especially for AS3678 steel plates. This study aims to analyze the capability of the production process, identify the causes of product nonconformities, and assess the potential risk of failure that occurs during the production process. The method used is a multivariate control chart MANOVA analysis. In addition, a cause-and-effect diagram is used to illustrate potential root causes, and the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method is applied to prioritize risk management based on severity, likelihood of occurrence, and detectability. The data is divided into two phases, the first phase aims to observe the initial production process while the second phase is used to observe the process shift in the product. The results of the multivariate analysis show that the process is capable in the parameters of Yield Strength and Tensile Strength, while Elongation is still not capable. Nonconformities are mainly caused by machine and measurement factors, which result in greater product variation so that it is necessary to improve the accuracy of measuring instruments and the stability of machine performance. The FMEA showed the highest risks in the heating, final cutting, and tensile testing stages, thus recommending equipment calibration, SOP enforcement, and operator competency improvement. This research also produced an interactive, real-time digital dashboard, enabling the company to continuously monitor process stability and capability and support data-driven decision-making.
