Abstract
Magang industri merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa melalui penerapan ilmu secara langsung di dunia kerja. Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di PT Industrial Robotic Automation (IRA), sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur sistem otomasi industri. Selama pelaksanaan magang, penulis ditempatkan pada divisi Research and Development (R&D) Mechanic sebagai Drafter Intern dengan tanggung jawab utama meliputi pembuatan Actual Product Drawing (APD), pemodelan tiga dimensi (3D modeling), gambar teknik dua dimensi (2D drawing), penyusunan assembly drawing, pembuatan part list, serta dokumen pendukung produksi. Selain itu, penulis juga terlibat dalam proses pengukuran komponen, inspeksi produk, simulasi dan analisis sederhana menggunakan Autodesk Inventor, serta pendampingan trial produk. Selama magang, penulis memperoleh pemahaman mengenai standar desain industri, proses pengembangan produk, koordinasi lintas divisi, serta pentingnya dokumentasi teknik dalam mendukung proses manufaktur. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi teknis dalam bidang desain mekanik berbasis CAD, kemampuan analisis, komunikasi, serta kerja sama tim, sehingga menjadi bekal yang relevan untuk menghadapi dunia kerja di industri manufaktur otomasi.

Industrial internship is a practical learning program designed to enhance students' competencies through the direct application of engineering knowledge in the workplace. This internship was conducted at PT Industrial Robotic Automation (IRA), a company specializing in industrial automation manufacturing systems. During the internship, the author was assigned to the Research and Development (R&D) Mechanic Division as a Mechanical Drafter Intern. The main responsibilities included preparing Actual Product Drawings (APD), developing 3D models, producing 2D engineering drawings, creating assembly drawings, compiling part lists, and preparing supporting production documents. In addition, the author participated in component measurement, product inspection, basic simulation and structural analysis using Autodesk Inventor, and product trial activities. Through these assignments, the author gained practical knowledge of industrial design standards, product development processes, cross-functional collaboration, and the importance of technical documentation in manufacturing operations. Overall, the internship successfully improved the author's technical skills in CAD-based mechanical design, analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork, providing valuable experience and professional competence for a future career in the industrial automation manufacturing sector.
