Abstract

Industri konstruksi kerap mengalami keterlambatan proyek akibat perencanaan jadwal yang kurang optimal dan tidak selaras dengan kondisi aktual di lapangan, khususnya pada pekerjaan berulang dengan lingkungan kerja yang dinamis. Metode Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) mampu memodelkan ketergantungan antaraktivitas, namun masih terbatas dalam mengakomodasi keterbatasan sumber daya, area kerja, dan perubahan lapangan. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Last Planner System (LPS) yang diintegrasikan dengan PDM pada proyek dermaga kapal selam di Kota Surabaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghitung durasi total pekerjaan dengan PDM, menganalisis implementasi LPS dalam jadwal PDM, serta membandingkan hasil jadwal PDM dengan jadwal kombinasi PDM dan LPS. Analisis dilakukan melalui permodelan 3D bangunan, pengolahan data volume, dan penyusunan jadwal dengan PDM, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan implementasi LPS melalui constraint analysis, master schedule, phase scheduling, lookahead planning, dan weekly work planning. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PDM menghasilkan durasi total 227 hari kalender. Implementasi LPS menambahkan aktivitas pendukung, seperti pengadaan dan pengecekan material, serta membagi pekerjaan menjadi empat fase. Lookahead planning memperhitungkan constraint lapangan sehingga pelaksanaan pekerjaan menjadi lebih terarah dan tidak menimbulkan keterlambatan. Hasil implementasi LPS tersebut pada jadwal mampu menghasilkan durasi total 173 hari. Perbedaan durasi tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas penjadwalan, karena identifikasi tim kerja memungkinkan perpindahan tim antarsegmen pekerjaan secara lebih mandiri sehingga waktu menganggur dapat diminimalkan. Dengan demikian, kombinasi PDM dan LPS menghasilkan jadwal yang lebih andal, realistis, dan sesuai dengan kondisi pelaksanaan proyek.

The construction industry often experiences project delays due to suboptimal schedule planning that is not aligned with actual site conditions, especially in repetitive work within dynamic work environments. The Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) can model dependencies between activities; however, it remains limited in accommodating resource constraints, work areas, and field changes. This study examines the application of the Last Planner System (LPS), integrated with PDM, in a submarine pier project in Surabaya. The objectives of this study are to calculate the total project duration using PDM, analyze the implementation of LPS within the PDM schedule, and compare the results of the PDM schedule with the combined PDM and LPS schedule. The analysis includes 3D building modeling, volume data processing, and schedule development using PDM, followed by LPS implementation through constraint analysis, master schedule, phase scheduling, lookahead planning, and weekly work planning. The results show that PDM produces a total duration of 227 calendar days. LPS implementation adds supporting activities, such as material procurement and inspection, and divides the work into four phases. Lookahead planning considers site constraints so that the execution of work becomes more organized and does not cause delays. The LPS based schedule produces a total duration of 173 days. This difference indicates improved scheduling effectiveness, as work team identification allows teams to move independently from one segment to another, thereby minimizing idle time. Therefore, the combination of PDM and LPS produces a more reliable, realistic, and site-appropriate project schedule.
