Abstract

The Samudra Port is a Port at the Pulang Pisau Harbour designed for ± 5000 DWT ships which will be modified into a multipurose port to serve dry bulk vessels (10,000 DWT, 7.9 m draught)and container vessels (± 16,000 GT or 19,000 DWT (Bridgestone Marine Fender Design) 10.5 m draught). The port is also equipped with loading and unloading tools ( Lifting Crane) with Integrated Hopper Tukan 1500.
The port is planned to withstand earthquakes with a 1000year repetition period with a typical moment-bearer structure system and a modification factor of the spectrum response (R) is 1.5 (SNI 2833-2013). The combination of loading is using SNI 2833 2013, about Standard Bridge Planning, and Port of Long Beach Design Wharf Design Criteria adapted to the conditions in Indonesia. The port structure elements are planned with precast concrete method (half beam and half slab). The choice of precast concrete method is due to the rapid construction process, independent from weather, controlled quality and typical dockstructure elements.
From this planning, the composite dimensions are obtained including 70x140cm main beam (crane beam, longitudinal beam and transverse beam), 60x300 cm fender beam,60 x 90 cm secondary beam, and 80/130 cm trestle beam. And also obtained the precast dimensions include 70x98 cm for main beam of port, 70x48 cm for sub beam on port and 80x88 cm for trestle beams. Precast plate either port or trestle with 200 cm thickness. All repeating calculations for all structural elements are presented in Technical drawings.
