Abstract

Pencemaran limbah dapat menimbulkan kerusakan ekosistem alam dan mengancam kesehatan masyarakat sekitar. Terutama masyarakat dan ekosistem yang berada di sekitar sungai karena tingkat pencemaran sungai akibat adanya limbah akhir cukup tinggi. Selain itu keadaan sungai kawasan industri cenderung sulit dijangkau.
Salah satu solusi alternatifnya yaitu dengan menggunakan robot amphibi yang mampu melakukan monitoring terhadap pencemaran limbah di sungai kawasan industri yang tercemar serta dapat mencapai lokasi yang sulit dijangkau oleh manusia.
Sistem ini berfungsi untuk melakukan monitoring limbah cair pada sungai yang dilengkapi dengan sensor pH, suhu, turbidity, dan GPS. Dengan memanfaatkan kendali wireless dari laptop pengguna, robot dapat dikendalikan dengan mudah, dan data sensor langsung akan ditampilkan di laptop.
Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, di dapat bahwa system prototipe robot amphibi untuk monitoring pencemaran limbah cair ini terdapat error pada bagian instrumentasinya yaitu sensor pH dengan error rata-rata sebesar 1,47%, sensor suhu sebesar 4,97% dan sensor turbidity 2,105%. Untuk komunikasi wireless jangkauan Xbee Pro untuk outdoor sejauh 90 meter dan untuk indoor sejauh 50 meter. Serta error yang terjadi adalah sebesar 0.000003166%.

Pollution of waste can cause damage to the natural ecosystem and threaten the health of the surrounding community. Especially communities and ecosystems that are in the vicinity of the river because
the level of river pollution due to the final waste is high enough. In addition, the state of the river industrial areas tend to be difficult to reach.
One alternative solution is to use an amphibious robot capable of monitoring the pollution of waste in
the rivers of contaminated
industrial areas and can reach locations that are difficult to reach by humans.
This system serves to monitor the liquid waste in rivers equipped with pH, temperature, turbidity and GPS sensors. By utilizing the wireless control of the user's laptop, the robot can be controlled easily, and direct
sensor data will be displayed on the laptop.
From the results of tests that have been done, the system prototype amphibious robot for monitoring liquid waste pollution have an error on the instrumentation that is pH sensor with error average
of 1.47%, temperature sensor of
4.97%, and turbidity sensor 2,105 %. For wireless communications Xbee Pro, the range for outdoor is as far as 90 meters and for indoor is as far as 50 meters. The error
is 0.000003166%.
