Abstract
Pengukuran akustik ruang membutuhkan sumber suara yang bersifat omnidirectional. Sumber suara omnidirectional adalah sumber suara yang menghasilkan pola keterarahan spheris atau merata ke segala arah. Loudspeaker dengan geometri polihedron merupakan beberapa bentuk loudspeaker yang mampu menghasilkan pola keterarahan spheris atau sumber omnidirectional. Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dodecahedron dinilai bentuk yang paling ideal untuk membuat suatu sumber bunyi omnidirectional yang baik. Penelitian tugas akhir ini melakukan perancangan loudspeaker dodecahedron, yang dimulai dengan simulasi software, mendesain, rancang bangun, dan juga uji karakteristik untuk melihat unjuk kerja dari loudspeaker tersebut. Pengujian ini dilakukan di ruang anechoic, dan mengacu pada standarisasi ISO 3745, dan 3382-1. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang didapat, unjuk kerja vibrastics dodecahedron ini sangat baik. Vibrastics dodecahedron ini mempunyai nilai flat response pada antara frekuensi 125 Hz sampai dengan 6300 Hz. Selain itu, pola keterarahan yang dihasilkan juga terdistribusi ke semua arah. Hanya saja, nilai tingkat tekanan bunyi yang dihasilkan masih dibawah 100 dB white noise.. Dengan demikian, vibrastics dodecahedron ini dapat digunakan untuk menunjang penelitian-penelitian selanjutnya khususnya dibidang akustik ruang.

A room acoustics measurements require omnidirectional sound sources. Omnidirectional sound source is a sound source that produces spherical or evenly distributed patterns in all directions. Loudspeakers with polyhedron geometry are some forms of loudspeaker capable of generating spherical or omnidirectional patterns. Based on several studies that have been done, dodecahedron form is considered the most ideal form to create a good omnidirectional sound source. This final project research about design of loudspeaker dodecahedron, which starts with software simulation, design, and characteristic test to see the performance of the loudspeaker. This test conducted in the anechoic chamber, and refers to the standardization of ISO 3745, and 3382-1. Based on the data processing obtained, the performance of vibrastics dodecahedron is very good. Vibrastics dodecahedron has a flat response frequency between 125 Hz to 6300 Hz. In addition, the result of polar pattern is evenly distributed (spheris). But, the strong sound pressure level (SPL) generated less than 100 dB of white noise. Thus, this vibrastics dodecahedron can be used to support further researches, especially in room acoustics measurements.
