Abstract
Dunia teknologi informasi terus mengalami perkembangan. Banyak inovasi baru yang telah bermunculan sebagai solusi permasalah industri di dunia. Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah hadirnya jenis e-commerce yaitu e-markatplace. Secara umum e-marketplace dibagi menjadi dua jenis, pertama private e-marketplace dan public e-marketplace. Penelitian ini akan fokus pada public e-marketplace. Di Indonesia pengembang platform jenis ini masih belum terlalu banyak dan rata-rata masih pada status start-up. Status start-up pada sebuah platform mengartikan bahwa platform tersebut masih dalam tahap berkembang dan membutuhkan banyak sumber daya terutama uang untuk terus melakukan riset. Salah satu cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut adalah mencari pendanaan dari investor. Namun bagaimana calon investor tersebut dapat yakin bahwa platform yang akan mereka beri modal adalah platform yang memang bernilai dan pantas untuk didanai. Penelitian ini akan memetakan model bisnis public e-marketplace yang beroperasi di Indoenesia dengan menggunakan Platform Design Toolkit (PDT). Penggunaan kerangka kerja PDT karena kerangka kerja ini didesain khusus untuk memetakan model bisnis platform. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah peta besar model bisnis platform public e-marketplace sesuai dengan prespektif PDT. Peta besar model bisnis tersebut menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa iklim bisnis public e-marketplace di Indonesia cukup menjanjikan bagi investor. Telah banyak investor asing yang menanamkan modal pada platform yang ada di Indonesia. Kenyataan ini cukup megkhawatirkan bagi keberlangsungan tujuan utama platform tersebut diciptakan dan dikembangkan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan lebih banyak investor lokal guna menjaga tujuan utama keberadaan platform-platform yang berusaha mewujudkan perekonomian Indonesia lebih baik melalui pemberdayaan UMKM dengan memanfaatkan internet.

The world of information technology continues to develop. Many new innovations have emerged as solutions to industrial problems in the world. One such innovation is the presence of a new type of e-commerce that is e-markatplace. In general, e-marketplace is divided into two types, first private e-marketplace and public e-marketplace. This research will focus on public e-marketplace. In Indonesia, the developer of this platform type is still not too much and they are still on start-up status. A platform with start-up status means that the platform is still in its infancy and requiring a lot of resources, especially money to continue researching. On of solution to meet those needs is to seek funding from investor. However, how potential investor s can be sure that the platform they will give capital is a platform that is worth. This research will map out the public e-marketplace business model that operates in Indonesia by using Platform Design Toolkit (PDT). The use of the PDT framework because this framework is specifically designed to map the platform's business model. The result of this final project is a large map of the public e-marketplace platform business model in accordance with PDT's perspective. The big map of the business model yields the conclusion that public e-marketplace business climate in Indonesia is promising for investors. Many foreign investors have invested in existing platforms in Indonesia. This fact is quite worrying for the sustainability of the platform's ultimate goals created and developed. Therefore, it takes more local investors to maintain the main objective of the existence of platforms that seek to realize the Indonesian economy better through the empowerment of UMKM by utilizing the internet.
