Abstract
Baja merupakan material bangunan yang baik bila dihadapkan dengan gempa. Jika dibandingkan dengan struktur beton, baja dinilai memiliki sifat daktil yang dapat dimanfaatkan pada saat struktur memikul beban akibat gempa. Steel Plate Shear Wall (SPSW) merupakan suatu sistem penahan beban lateral yang berbentuk pelat baja vertikal padat yang menghubungkan balok dan kolom di sekitarnya yang terpasang sepanjang ketinggian struktur yang membentuk suatu dinding penopang. SPSW memiliki daktilitas yang baik serta dapat dilaksanakan dengan presisi dan cepat bila dibandingkan dengan beton sehingga cocok digunakan di wilayah yang rawan gempa.
Perhitungan struktur gedung dengan sistem SPSW ini mengacu pada Standar Perencanaan Ketahanan Gempa Untuk Struktur Bangunan Gedung SNI 03-1726-2012, Specification for structural steel building AISC 360-10, Seismic provision for structural steel building AISC 341-10, dan Peraturan Pembebanan Indonesia Untuk Bangunan Gedung PPIUG 1983 sebagai pendamping aturan. Dalam menganalisis struktur ditinjau pengaruh beban gempa dinamik dengan menggunakan program ETABS 2016.
Dari analisa dan hasil perhitungan diperoleh hasil : tebal pelat lantai bondek = 10 cm, dimensi balok induk memanjang : W350x175x7x11 dan melintang : W400x200x9x16 (Lt 1 sampai Lt 2) W400x200x8x13 (Lt 3 sampai atap), dimensi kolom H300x300x24x29 untuk lt 1 sampai 5 dan H300x300x18x23 untuk lantai 6 sampai atap, dimensi VBE H400x400x35x45 , dimensi HBE H400x200x9x19.

Steel is a good building material againts earthquake. If compared to concrete, steel will have better ductility which is usefull to dissipate energy caused by ground acceleration. Steel Plate Shear Wall (SPSW) is a structural system composed by thin vertical steel plate connected to boundary elements along building height which create a wall that able to support latteral forces. SPSW have a good ductility and can be carried out precisely and relatively faster in construction time compared to concrete shear wall.
Design of SPSW is regulated by Standar Perencanaan Ketahanan Gempa Untuk Struktur Bangunan Gedung SNI 03-1726-2012 (ASCE 7-10), Specification for structural steel building AISC 360-10, Seismic provision for structural steel building AISC 341-10, and Peraturan Pembebanan Indonesia Untuk Bangunan Gedung PPIUG 1983 as companion to main specification. To analize the structure this paper will use ETABS 2016 as main software.
Design result of this paper are : steel deck thickness = 10 cm, main beam in X direction : H350x175x7x11 and for Y direction is : H400x200x9x16 (1st floor to 2nd floor) H400x200x8x13 (3rd floor to top floor), column dimension is H300x300x18x23 (1st floor to 5th floor), H300x300x24x29 (6th floor to roof floor), VBE dimension is : H400x400x35x45 , HBE dimension is H400x200x9x19.
