Abstract
Di dalam proses sedimentasi air partikel-partikel / flok- flok yang terbentuk dari flokulasi akan mengendap pada bak sedimentasi. Sistem pengendalian volume zat pengendap bertujuan untuk secara otomatis memberika zat pengendap yang berupa air tawas ke dalam tangki pengendapan sesuai nilai kekeruhan apabila tidak sesuai set point yaitu ≤ 5 NTU. Proses bermula dari tangki kosong sehingga pompa on untuk memompa air danau Ketika level bawah mendeteksi maka MOV membuka untuk mengalirkan larutan tawas, kemudian proses terhenti beberapa menit untk mendiamkan campuran tawas, setelah itu didapatkan nilai NTU dan pompa kembali menyala dengan bukaan MOV sesuai dengan nilai kekeruhan yang sudah terbaca kemudia proses benar-benar terhenti ketika level atas bekerja.

The process starts from an empty tank so that the pump on to pump lake water When the lower level detects the MOV opens to drain alum solution, then the process stops a few minutes to silence the alum mixture, after that the NTU value is obtained and the pump lights up with the MOV opening according to the turbidity value which has been read and the process actually stops when the top level works.
