Abstract

Indonesia tengah menghadapi serangkaian bencana alam sejak 2018 lalu.

Indonesia has been facing several natural disasters since 2018. It is estimated at least 1300 civilian died in earthquake and tsunami in Palu. Indonesia is located in ring of fire and that puts many provinces in Indonesia vulnerable to natural disaster. Basically, earthquake don’t have an ability to kill human, but the high number of deaths on earthquake is produce by building that collapsed and trapped human inside. A long evacuation process may result in earthquake victims didn’t get medical help fast enough. Manual evacuation process takes large amount of time and manpower. The usage of excavator to wipe all the ruins still face many troubles. Workspace of the excavator is considerably small so a rescue mission with excavator still takes a lot of time. Mobile cable driven parallel robot (M-CDPR) is one of the solutions, this machinery can offer faster evacuation process, due to a larger workspace. In this research, M-CDPR consist of 3 mobile base and 3 cable with reconfigurable telescopic arm that connected to one point of mass. The objection of this research is to find the distribution of cable tension and telescopic arm configuration while point of mass, as the moving platform, move through the trajectory. This research begins with identifying the problem and literature study. Then, the design parameters and research variables are defined. Thenceforth the geometric model of M-CDPR, dynamic equilibrium of the end effector and static equilibrium of the mobile bases are able to be analyzed. Lastly the zero moment point (ZMP) of the mobile bases is analyzed.
The payload for parametric oscillation and vertical helix trajectory are 1000 kg and 1500 kg, furthermore, payload for horizontal helix trajectory are 2000 kg and 2500 kg. Based on the analysis accomplished in this report, end effector’s dynamic equilibrium of the M-CDPR are able to be maintained. The average cable tension of reconfigurable M-CDPR is smaller than non-reconfigurable one. Static equilibrium of reconfigurable M-CDPR are successfully maintained by changing the length and angle of the telescopic arms, hence, the ZMP position can be moved instantaneously without passing the limit.
