Abstract
Pada proses pengendalian kualitas statistik, diagram kontrol adalah alat yang digunakan untuk menilai perilaku suatu proses. Diagram kontrol yang biasa digunakan adalah diagram kontrol Shewhart X-bar dan S. Diagram kontrol Shewhart X-bar dan S dibuat berdasarkan asumsi normalitas. Akan tetapi, tidak semua pengamatan memenuhi asumsi distribusi normal. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, saat ini telah dikembangkan diagram kontrol Robust berdasarkan modifikasi pemangkasan standar deviasi sebagai alternatif dari diagram kontrol Shewhart karena dianggap lebih ketat untuk mengontrol proses pada data normal maupun non- normal. Penerapan diagram kontrol Robust berdasarkan modifikasi pemangkasan standar deviasi dan diagram kontrol Shewhart menunjukkan bahwa berat isian (filling weight) sarden ABC Ekstra Pedas 155 gram pada PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia belum terkendali secara statistik, kecuali pada diagram kontrol Shewhart S. Penerapan diagram kontrol Robust berdasarkan modifikasi pemangkasan standar deviasi memberikan interval batas kendali yang lebih sempit dan nilai ARL yang lebih kecil daripada diagram kontrol Shewhart.

In the process of statistical quality control, a control chart is a tool used to assess the behavior of a process. Control charts that are often used are control diagrams Shewhart X-bar and S. Shewhart X-bar and S control charts are made based on assumptions of normality. However, not all the observation is normally distributed. To overcome this, Robust control diagrams have been developed based on a modification of standard deviation trimming as an alternative to the Shewhart control chart because it is considered tight for controlling the process in normal and non-normal processes. The application of the Robust control diagram based on a modification of standard deviation trimming and Shewhart control chart shows that the filling weight of sardines ABC of Ekstra Pedas 155 grams at PT. Blambangan Indonesian Food packers have not been statistically controlled. The application of Robust control chart based on the modification of standard deviation trimming provides a control limit that is more tight and provides a smaller ARL value than the Shewhart control chart.
