Abstract
Perubahan iklim di Indonesia menyebabkan terjadinya suatu proses pembasahan dan pengeringan. Siklus pembasahan dan pengeringan merupakan peristiwa alam yang terjadi secara terus-menerus pada daerah beriklim tropis seperti Indonesia. Proses pembasahan dan pengeringan secara berulang dapat memengaruhi sifat fisik dan mekanik dari tanah itu sendiri karena terjadinya perubahan volume tanah yang disebabkan oleh perubahan kadar air. Tanah di sekitar tanggul yang berada di Sungai Bengawan Solo, Desa Kanor, Kecamatan Kanor, Kabupaten Bojonegoro telah mengalami perubahan karakteristik tanah dan kekuatan tanah menurun sehingga terjadi penurunan kuat geser (shear strength) tanah pada lapisan subgrade. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan perbaikan tanah agar sifat-sifat tanah tetap dapat terjaga. Usaha untuk perbaikan karakter fisik dan mekanik dapat dilakukan dengan banyak cara, salah satu diantaranya yaitu stabilisasi tanah. Tujuan dari stabilisasi tanah adalah untuk meningkatkan kuat dukung tanah dengan peningkatan kohesi tanah dan kepadatan tanah. Cara stabilisasi yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu stabilisasi mekanik dengan pemadatan dan kimia dengan menambahkan bahan tambah tertentu (stabilisator) agar kualitas tanah dapat ditingkatkan. Bahan stabilisator yang digunakan yaitu kapur.
Terjadinya perubahan parameter fisik dan mekanik pada tanah natural dan tanah yang telah distabilisasi juga akan memengaruhi besar dari kekuatan geser tanah, khususnya tanah dasar, pada struktur jalan inspeksi di sekitar lokasi studi. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan penelitian untuk mengetahui perubahan parameter fisik dan mekanik tanah antural (undisturbed) dan tanah stabilisasi (disturbed) dan pengaruhnya terhadap kekuatan geser tanah pada struktur jalan inspeksi di sepanjang sungai apabila terkena pengaruh perubahan kadar air.
Penambahan kapur akan menurunkan indeks plastisitas dan mengubah properties tanah dari kondisi tanah inisial (undisturbed). Kadar optimum campuran untuk tanah stabilisasi (disturbed) berasal dari kadar campuran 6% kapur aktif dengan 94% tanah. Akibat proses pengeringan-pembasahan mengakibatkan perubahan pada nilai kadar air (Wc), derajat kejenuhan (Sr), berat volume tanah (γt), kohesi undrained (Cu), sudut geser dalam (ϕ), dan tegangan air pori negatif (-Uw) dari kondisi inisial masing-masing. Jika dibandingkan dengan kondisi asli (undisturbed) tanah yang terkena pengaruh pengeringan dan pembasahan, tanah yang distabilisasi memiliki nilai CBR lebih besar dari persyaratan.

Climate change in Indonesia causes a process of wetting and drying. The wetting and drying cycle is a natural event that occurs continuously in tropical climates such as Indonesia. The repeated wetting and drying process can affect the physical and mechanical properties of the soil itself due to changes in soil volume caused by changes in moisture content. The land around the embankment in the Bengawan Solo River, Kanor Village, Kanor District, Bojonegoro Regency has undergone changes in soil characteristics and soil power decreased so there is a decrease in shear strength (shear strength) in the subgrade layer. For this it is necessary to improve soil to keep the properties of soil intact. The effort to improve physical and mechanical character can be done in many ways, one of them is stabilization of land. The purpose of stabilizing the soil is to enhance strong soil support with increased soil cohesion and soil density. The way of stabilization that will be used in this research is chemical stabilization by adding certain added materials (stabilizers) so that the quality of soil can be improved. The material stabilizers used are lime.
The occurrence of changes in physical and mechanical parameters of natural soils and stabilized soil will also affect the strength of the ground shear forces, particularly the ground soil, on the structure of the inspection roads around the site of study. Therefore, research needs to be conducted to determine the change in physical and mechanical parameters of natural soil and soil that has been stabilized and its effect on the shear strength of soil on the structure of the inspection road along the river when exposed Influence of water content variation.
The addition of lime will decrease the plasticity index and The addition of lime will decrease the plasticity index and change the soil properties of the initials soil condition (undisturbed). The optimal mixture content for soil stabilization (disturbed) is 6% active lime mixture with 94% soil. Due to the drying process-wetting resulted in changes in the value of water content (wc), degree of saturation (Sr), weight of the volume of soil (γt), undrained cohesion (Cu), inner shear angles (ϕ), and negative pore water pressure (-Uw) of each initials condition. When compared to the undisturbed condition of the soil affected by drying and wetting, the soil is stabilized has a CBR value greater than the requirements.
