Abstract

Proses instalasi pipa bawah laut memerlukan analisis yang komplek untuk menghindari terjadinya kegagalan. Pertimbangan kondisi lingkungan sangat penting untuk diperhatikan selama proses instalasi, dikarenakan selama proses instalasi pipa akan mendapatkan pengaruh langsung baik dari gaya gelombang, gaya arus, ataupun gaya berat dari beban perpipaan itu sendiri. Dalam tugas akhir ini, dibahas analisis keandalan pipa bawah laut terhadap propagation buckling dengan metode Monte Carlo, saat instalasi pipa dengan metode Push Pull dimana sebelumnya dilakukan analisis terhadap gaya dan beban yang dialami pipa untuk mengetahui kondisi pipa selama instalasi. Data pipa yang digunakan dalam analisis ini merupakan pipa untuk penyaluran solar berbahan carbon steel standar API 5L. Gaya tarik maksimal yang diterima pipa bawah laut sebesar 174,35 kN pada bentangan pipa terpanjang 1150 m didaerah roller barge.Tegangan pipa saat proses instalasi yang terbesar sebesar 281,03 MPa pada bentangan pipa terpanjang 1150 m didaerah roller barge, dan belum melewati batas tegangan ijin yakni 288 MPa. Keandalan pipa bawah laut terhadap propagation buckling selama proses instalasi yakni 100% ketika tekanan eksternal sebesar 0,22 MPa, namun dengan variasi peningkatan tekanan eksternal masing-masing sebesar 1,96 MPa, 2 MPa, dan 2,04 MPa pada input moda kegagalan, keandalan pipa semakin menurun berturut turut menjadi 72 %, 42 % dan 16%.

The process of subsea pipelines installation requires complex analysis to avoid failure. Consideration of environmental conditions is very important to note during the installation process, because during the installation process the pipe will get a direct influence from the wave force, current force, or gravity of the piping load itself. In this final project, an analysis of the reliability of subsea pipelines on propagation buckling is discussed with the Monte Carlo method, when installing pipes with the Push Pull method where an analysis of the force and load experienced by the pipe was carried out to determine pipe conditions during installation. The pipe data used in this analysis is a pipeline for distributing diesel fuel made from carbon steel API 5L standard. The maximum tensile force received by the subsea pipe is 174.35 kN on the longest stretch of pipe 1150 m in the area of the roller barge. The largest pipe tension during the installation process is 281.03 MPa on the longest stretch of pipe 1150 m in the roller barge area and has not exceeded the voltage limit permission of 288 MPa. The reliability of the subsea pipeline against propagation buckling during the installation process is 100% when the external pressure is 0.22 MPa, but with variations in the increase in external pressure respectively 1.96 MPa, 2 MPa, and 2.04 MPa in the input failure mode, pipeline reliability has decreased in succession to 72%, 42% and 16%.
