Abstract

Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) merupakan struktur terapung yang memiliki kemampuan untuk penyimpanan hidrokarbon. Pada kondisi operasi, FSO membutuhkan sistem tambat untuk menjaganya agar tetap stabil pada posisinya. Salah satu yang umum digunakan adalah Single Point Mooring (SPM). Diperlukan analisis terhadap sistem tambat untuk mengetahui kekuatan sistem tambat tersebut sehingga operasi di lepas pantai dapat berjalan dengan aman. Dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini, dilakukan analisis kekuatan anchor chain pada Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) dengan tipe Catenary Anchored Leg Mooring (CALM) yang menambat FSO Arco Ardjuna. Dengan mengetahui perilaku gerak dari SPM dan FSO akibat beban lingkungan pada kondisi free floating, maka akan diketahui nilai tension dari mooring lines pada beberapa variasi pembebanan. Nilai RAO pada FSO dan SPM cenderung mengalami kondisi maksimal pada kondisi full load ketika mode gerakan roll saat arah datang gelombang dari beam sea (90⁰) serta frekuensi sebesar 0.57 rad/s. Hasil analisis untuk hasil tension sebesar 1075.78 kN pada mooring lines 1 (damage) sudah memenuhi ketentuan safety factor menurut American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) untuk kondisi intact (ULS) dan damage (ALS). Besar tegangan maksimum (Von-Mises stress) pada anchor chain sebesar 280.05 MPa dan lebih kecil terhadap 90% tegangan ijin (yield strength) sebesar 369 MPa sehingga memenuhi ketentuan yang ditetapkan oleh ABS.===========================================================================================================Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) is a floating structure that has ability to store hydrocarbon. During its operation, FSO requires a mooring system to keep it on its stabil position. One of which is commonly used is Single Point Mooring (SPM). Strength analysis of mooring system is required to ensure that mooring system is safe during its operation. This final project will analyze the strength of anchor chain on Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) with Catenary Anchored Leg Mooring (CALM) as its mooring system type that tie up FSO Arco Arjuna. By knowing motion characteristics of FSO dan SPM as the effect of environmental load on free floating condition, the value of its tension will be known at several variation of loading. The peak value of RAO on FSO was occurred during full load tank condition, the direction of coming wave on beam sea (90⁰), and wave frequency at 0.57 rad/s. The result of analysis with 1075.78 kN as its tension on 1st mooring line was already fulfilled based on American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for intact condition (ULS) and damage condition (ALS). The maximum stress (Von-Mises stress) on anchor chain was 280.05 MPa. The result was smaller against 90% of yield strength as much as 369 MPa so that passes the rule by ABS.
