Abstract

Abstrak—Meningkatnya jumlah lansia pada setiap tahunnya di Indonesia secara otomatis memberikan pengaruh terhadap semakin banyaknya jumlah rumah tangga yang dihuni oleh lansia. Data Susenas 2017 menunjukkan bahwa 9,8% lansia tinggal sendiri dengan usia minimal adalah 60 tahun. Sedangkan jumlah lansia yang memiliki pasangan dan tidak tinggal bersama keluarganya adalah 18,89%. Keberadaan lansia yang tinggal sendiri tidak dapat diawasi oleh pihak keluarga. Resiko-resiko yang dapat timbul dapat berupa fisik maupun psikis. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut telah dibuat sebuah sistem untuk melakukan pemantauan terhadap kondisi lansia dari jarak jauh. Namun, sistem tersebut hanya dapat membantu mengefisiensikan penanggulangan resiko fisik. Sedangkan resiko psikis yang dapat ditimbulkan akibat penurunan fungsi kognitif berupa kesulitan mengingat, pikun, hingga ketidakmampuan merawat dirinya sendiri. Untuk membantu menanggulangi resiko akibat penurunan kemampuan psikis tersebut, maka pada tugas akhir ini dibuatlah sebuah sistem yang dapat menyampaikan pesan dan pengingat dari keluarga ataupun dokter yang ditujukan kepada lansia agar kehidupan lansia menjadi lebih teratur dan terawat. Tugas akhir ini mengaplikasikan robot service sebagai asisten untuk lansia. Robot tersebut berperan untuk menyampaikan pesan dan pengingat yang telah diberikan oleh keluarga atau dokter melalui website. Waktu penyampaian pesan dan pengingat tersebut dapat diatur sesuai kebutuhan. Terdapat tiga kategori utama untuk penjadwalan pesan, yaitu instan, harian, dan mingguan. Abstract— The increasing number of elderly people every year in Indonesia automatically has an effect on the increasing number of households inhabited by the elderly. Susenas' data in 2017 shows that 9.8% of the elderly live alone with a minimum age of 60 years. While the number of elderly people who have a partner and do not live with their family is 18.89%. The existence of elderly people who live alone cannot be monitored by the family. Risks that can arise can be physical or psychological. Based on these problems a system has been made to monitor the condition of the elderly from a distance. However, the system can only help streamline physical risk management. While the psychological risks that can be caused due to decreased cognitive function in the form of difficulty remembering, senility, to the inability to care for himself. To help overcome the risk due to a decrease in psychic abilities, then in this final project, a system that can deliver messages and reminders from the family or the doctor is directed to the elderly, so the life of the elderly becomes more organized and maintained was made. This final project applies robot service as an assistant for the elderly. The robot has a role to convey the messages and the reminders that have been given by the family or the doctor through the website. The time for delivering messages and reminders can be arranged as needed. There are three main categories for message scheduling, namely instant, daily, and weekly.
