Abstract

Sintesis dan karakterisasi material RAM telah dilakukan.
Bahan baku alam yang digunakan berupa karbon aktif kulit
singkong sebagai material dielektrik yang dikombinasikan
dengan material magnetik berupa barium M-heksaferit yang
disintesis dari pasir besi hasil tambang Kab. Tanah Laut Provinsi
Kalimantan Selatan. RAM pada penelitian ini merupakan
campuran karbon aktif kulit singkong dan barium M-heksaferit
dengan fraksi massa 1:1 dan cat sebagai media perekatnya. RAM
tersebut dilapiskan pada plat baja grade A tipe AH36 melalui
metode pelapisan dallenbach single layer dengan variasi
ketebalan 2 mm, 3 mm dan 4 mm. Penyerapan gelombang mikro
dididentifikasi dengan pengujian VNA dan dari hasil penelitian
didapatkan bahwa nilai rugi refleksi paling besar adalah pada
ketebalan 4 mm sebesar -23,479 dB. Sementara nilai rugi refleksi
pada ketebalan 2 mm dan 3 mm berturut-turut sebesar -10,147
dB dan -10,494 dB. ========== Synthesis and characterization of RAM has been
performed. This research used natural raw materials such us
active carbon made from cassava peel as dielectric material, and
it combined with barium M-Heksaferit as magnetic material. This
material using iron sand from Tanah Laut district of South
Kalimantan as precursor iron ion. RAM in this research is a
mixture of cassava peel active carbon and barium M-heksaferit
with mass fraction 1:1 and paint as an adhesive medium. RAM
will be coated on the grade A type AH36 steel plate. The coating
process using dallenbach single layer coating method with
variaton of coating thickness are 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm.The
absorption of microwave identified by VNA testing, based on the
research we found that the maximum reflection loss (RL) value in
the 4 mm thickness with RL value -23,479 dB. And RL value for 2
mm and 3 mm thickness continued are -10,147 dB and -10,494
dB.
