Abstract
Proses kompaksi peluru frangible saat ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin kompaksi hidrolik manual. Untuk mencapai tahap produksi masal diperlukan analisis kinerja dan efisiensi mesin kompaksi hidrolik otomatis. Analisa kinerja mesin dilakukan berdasarkan rancang bangun dan operasionalnya. Optimasi mesin kompaksi hidrolik otomatis dilakukan dengan menentukan variabel tekanan dan dwelling time yang paling optimal dengan variasi tekanan 500,600 dan 700 MPa dan variasi dwelling time yaitu 0,5,15,30, dan 45 menit dengan validasi melalui pengujian tekanan dan kekerasan. Dan juga dilakukan perhitungan terhadap efisiensi mesin kompaksi hidrolik otomatis serta perhitungan kapasitas mesin dalam menghasilkan produk frangible bullet yang sesuai standar. Dari hasil uji kekerasan didapatkan bahwa tekanan yang paling optimum adalah 700 MPa dengan dweling time 5 menit sebesar 97 HRF. Sedangkan dari hasil uji kekuatan tekan didapatkan bahwa tekanan yang paling optimum adalah 700 Mpa dengan dweling time 45 menit sebesar 110 MPa. mesin kompaksi HO memiliki akurasi penekanan sebesar 99,88%, dengan efisiensi mesin sebesar 80%, serta efisiensi produksi sebesar 80%.

The frangible bullet compaction process is currently carried out using a manual hydraulic compacting machine. To reach the mass production stage, performance and efficiency analysis of automatic hydraulic compacting machines is needed. Machine performance analysis is carried out based on the design and operation. automatic hydraulic compacting machine optimization is done by determining the most optimal pressure and dwelling time variables with pressure variations of 500,600 and 700 MPa and dwelling time variations of 0.5,15,30, and 45 minutes with validation through pressure and hardness testing. And also the calculation of the efficiency of automatic hydraulic compacting machines and the calculation of engine capacity in producing frangible bullet products that are in accordance with the standard. From the results of the hardness test it was found that the most optimum pressure was 700 MPa with 5 minutes dweling time of 97 HRF. While the results of the compressive strength test found that the most optimum pressure is 700 MPa with 45 minutes dweling time of 110 MPa. This machine have a pressing accuracy of 99,88%, with an engine efficiency of 80% and a production efficiency of 80%.
