Abstract
PT Y adalah salah satu anak perusahaan Penanaman Modal Asing (PMA) yang khusus memproduksi speaker untuk pasar lokal dan internasional. Saat ini pemenuhan order PT Y belum memenuhi target performansi yang diharapkan. Pemenuhan order baru mencapai 97,55% dari target 100%. Hal ini menjadi perhatian dari Y Grup agar PT Y dapat memperbaiki diri karena dapat berakibat perusahaan menjadi kurang kompetitif dibanding pesaing. Berdasarkan observasi awal ditemukan indikasi adanya pemborosan, yaitu defect, downtime, dan delay proses. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemetaan aktivitas value added dan non-value added dengan value stream mapping dan process activity mapping. Tool lean yang digunakan untuk analisis waste lebih lanjut adalah Lean Assessment Matrix (LAM). Metode ini merupakan modifikasi dan integrasi dari House of Risk (HOR) dan Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM) yang secara komprehensif dapat memenuhi keseluruhan tahap impelementasi lean manufacturing, antara lain identifikasi waste dan akar penyebab waste, penentuan waste kritis, alternatif tindakan eliminasi akar penyebab waste dan prioritasnya. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah mengurangi waste yang ada hingga 50% dari kondisi saat ini. Hasil penelitian menujukkan waste yang memberikan pengaruh paling signifikan adalah transportation, waiting dan inventory. Akar penyebab permasalahan waste antara lain stasiun kerja tidak ergonomis, tidak memiliki jadwal preventive maintenance, tidak ada standar penanganan produk defect, layout ruangan yang tidak menyesuaikan arah material, kapasitas angkut hand truck yang kecil, dan proses Outgoing Quantity Check (OQC) tidak termasuk dalam standard time perusahaan. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diajukan antara lain melakukan training untuk meningkatkan skill repair produk, membuat schedule preventive maintenance mesin, dan melakukan relayout ruangan.

PT Y is a subsidiary of Foreign Investment (PMA) which specializes in producing speakers for local and international markets. At present PT Y's orders have not met the expected performance targets. Fulfillment of production orders reached 97.55% of the target of 100%. This is one of the concerns of Y Group that PT Y need to improve themselves because it can result in companies becoming less competitive than competitors. Based on preliminary observations, there were indications of waste, namely defects, downtime, and process delays. In this research, mapping the value added and non-value added with value stream mapping and activity mapping process. The lean tool used for further waste analysis is the Lean Assessment Matrix (LAM). This method is a modification and integration of House of Risk (HOR) and Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM) which could cover the complete stages of lean manufacturing implementation starting from waste and their causes identification, the critical waste prioritizing as well as provides waste reduction plan alternatives and their ranks. Expected result from this research is that this research could reduce the waste up to 50% from existing condition. The results of the research show that the waste which gives the most significant influence are transportation, waiting and inventory. The root causes of problems between work stations are not ergonomic, do not have preventative maintenance schedules, there are no standards for handling defective products, the layout of the room is not in the direction of material, the carrying capacity of small hand trucks, and the Outgoing Quantity Check (OQC) processes are not included in the company’s time standards. The proposed improvement recommendations include conducting training to improve product repair skills, making a preventative machine maintenance schedule, and conducting production floor relayout.
