Abstract
Perusahaan label plastik adalah salah satu produsen yang menyediakan produk label plastik berupa Kemasan Fleksibel. Data produksi perusahaan pada tahun 2018 menunjukkan bahwa terjadi fluktuasi jumlah Defect. Tidak hanya itu nilai defect selalu di atas batas maksimal yang diterapkan perusahaan yaitu maksimal 8%. Hal yang sama juga terjadi pada jumlah pemenuhan terhadap permintaan, dari tahun 2015 sampai tahun 2018 prosentase pemenuhan order dari label plastik terus mengalami penurunan. Peningkatan produktifitas dengan cara mereduksi pemborosan (waste) menjadi salah satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi. Analisis pemborosan dilakukan sebelum dilakukannya upaya mereduksi pemborosan. Analisis pemborosan pada proses produksi Kemasan Fleksibel dilakukan dengan metode Seven Waste Assessment (SWA) dan Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM). SWA digunakan untuk identifikasi waste, sedangkan WRM digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterkaitan antar waste. Dilakukan juga pembobotan setiap waste dengan metode Waste Assesment Questionnaire (WAQ). Dari pembobotan waste dipilih tools yang sesuai dengan menggunakan metode VALSAT. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan empat waste prioritas yang akan direkomendasikan untuk direduksi yaitu Motion, Defect, Inventory dan Transportation. Rekomendasi perbaikan untuk waste Motion adalah dengan menerapkan Quality Improvement yaitu penerapan prinsip 5S. Sedangkan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk waste Transportation dengan cara mengubah layout mesin pabrik menggunakan prinsip Layout U-Shape. Reduksi perbaikan untuk waste Inventory dengan menerapkan prinsip dan persamaan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) untuk mengontrol bahan baku serta penambahan mesin Laminasi untuk mengurangi Inventory WIP Printing. Sedangkan untuk mereduksi waste Defect direkomendasikan prinsip Poka-Yoke untuk diterapkan dalam produksi Kemasan Fleksibel. =================================================================================================================================
Plastic label company is one of the manufacturers that provides plastic product labels consisting of Flexible Packaging. The company's production data in 2018 shows that there are fluctuations in the number of defects. Not only that the value of defects is always above the maximum limit applied by the company, which is a maximum of 8%. The same thing happened in the number of fulfillment of demand, from 2015 to 2018 the percentage of fulfillment of orders from plastic labels continued to increase. Increasing productivity by reducing waste (waste) is one of the things that needs to be considered to improve production. Waste analysis is carried out before repair efforts reduce waste. Waste analysis in the Flexible Packaging production process was carried out by the Seven Waste Assessment (SWA) and Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM) methods. SWA is used to collect waste, while WRM is used to determine the level of linkages between wastes. Also needed is the weighting of each waste using the Waste Assessment Questionnaire (WAQ) method. From the weighting of the waste the appropriate tool is selected using the VALSAT method. From this research four priority wastes will be recommended to be reduced, namely Motion, Defect, Inventory and Transportation. The improvement recommendation for Motion waste is Quality Improvement, namely 5S principle. While reducing improvements for waste Transportation by changing the layout of the factory machine using the U-Shape Layout principle. Reduce improvements for Inventory waste by applying the principles and equation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) to control raw materials and increase number of Lamination machines to reduce WIP Printing Inventory. Meanwhile, to reduce waste Defect, it is recommended that the Poka-Yoke principle be applied in the production of Flexible Packaging
