Abstract

The 35,000 MW electricity program is a form of government commitment to create energy independence by making optimal use of renewable energy sources. PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) prepares a special pattern to optimize the consumption of liquefied natural gas to meet electricity needs in Maluku and Papua to support 54 gas power plants (PLTG). This Final Project is expected to provide a solution to create a means of distribution of liquefied natural gas to support the gas needs in Indonesia, especially in Langgur, Southeast Maluku. The payload of this ship is a requirement for liquefie natural gas that is used as fuel for a Gas Power Plant (PLTMG) in Langgur. The initial main size of a self propelled LNG barge is determined by adjusting the number and size of the LNG tank used based on the LNG requirements themselves. The initial main measure will be carried out the 256 main size optimization method. the 256 main sizes selected the minimum resistance. After that a technical calculation is carried out in the form of weight, displacement, trim, freeboard, and stability. The main size obtained is Lpp = 63.9m; B = 13.2 m; H = 4.15m; T = 2.65 m. The minimum freeboard height is 624,186 mm, the gross tonnage of the ship is 1367,831 GT and the stability condition of the Self￾propelled LNG Barge meets the Intact Stability (IS) Code Reg criteria. III / 3.1. Economic analysis carried out is to calculate the cost of development (investment), operational costs, and investment feasibility analysis. The cost of constructing the self-propelled barge is Rp 93,584,945,923 with an estimated net profit taking of Rp 1,911,503,954 per month. In the investment feasibility analysis it was found that the NPV of Rp. 62,082,334,764,IRR of 24%, and payback period in the 5th year.
