Abstract

Bintang boson merupakan objek matematis yang muncul ketika medan skalar kompleks terkopel dengan gravitasi. Limit medan lemah sistem Einstein-Klein-Gordon akan tereduksi menjadi sistem Poisson-Schrodinger. Sistem ini terdiri atas dua persamaan yaitu persamaan poisson yang menggambarkan potensial gravitasi Newton dan persamaan Schrodinger yang menggambarkan medan skalar. Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan solusi bintang boson Newtonian dalam limit medan lemah serta limit kopling besar beserta parameter-parameter fisisnya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan tersebut maka akan diapatkan parameter-parameter fisis bintang boson Newtonian. Dalam tesis ini didapatkan bahwa massa maksimum bintang boson Newtonian beberapa kali lebih besar dibandingkan pendekatan relativistic. Model bintang boson Newtonian dalam 4 dimensi dapat pula diperluas dalam D dimensi.

Boson stars are mathematical objects that arise when complex scalar field coupled with gravity. In weak field limit, Einstein-Klein-Gordon system will be reduced to Poisson-Schrodinger System. This system consists of two equations, Poisson equation which described Newtonian gravitational potential and Schrodinger equation which described scalar field. This thesis aims to obtain Newtonian boson stars solution in weak field limit and large coupling limit along with their physical parameters. By using this approximation the physical parameters of Newtonian boson stars will be obtained. In this thesis, it can be concluded that the maximum mass of a Newtonian boson stars is several times greater than the relativistic result. The Newtonian boson stars model ini 4 dimensions can be expanded in D dimensions.
