Abstract

Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) Arco Ardjuna beroperasi di field Ardjuna
perairan Laut Jawa. FSO ini dilengkapi dengan sistem tambat (mooring system)
jenis Single Point Mooring (SPM 3). Selain sebagai sistem tambat, SPM 3 juga
berfungsi untuk sistem offloading dan direncanakan untuk dilakukan reparasi
dikarenakan faktor umur. Agar lifting capacity tetap berjalan, dilakukan
penambahan sistem tandem offloading pada FSO Arco Ardjuna. Untuk
menunjang sistem ini, dibutuhkan kontruksi panama chock yang diletakkan pada
bagian stern FSO. Konstruksi tersebut merupakan tumpuan dan jalur lewat
hawser 3 yang menghubungkan FSO Arco Ardjuna dengan shuttle tanker.
Konstruksi panama chock diharapkan mampu menahan shuttle tanker dan beban
lingkungan sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis kekuatan. Tension hawser 3
digunakan sebagai pembebanan analisis kekuatan pada konstruksi panama chock.
Tension ini dapat diketahui dari gerakan yang terjadi pada FSO, shuttle tanker dan
SPM. Berdasarkan simulasi yang dilakukan, didapatkan tension maksimum pada
hawser 3 sebesar 2156,817 kN dengan safety factor 1,898. Nilai ini lebih besar
dari yang disyaratkan oleh American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) yaitu 1,82.
Pembebanan konstruksi panama chock menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode
variasi sudut dan metode posisi relatif hawser atau shuttle tanker terhadap FSO.
Didapatkan tegangan maksimum dan deformasi untuk metode variasi sudut
sebesar 224,43 MPa dan 0,7633 mm. Sedangkan untuk metode dengan posisi
relatif hawser atau shuttle tanker terhadap FSO sebesar 223,4 MPa dan 3,3129
mm. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa konstruksi panama chock aman
untuk beroperasi karena tegangan dan deformasi yang terjadi tidak lebih dari batas
yang ditentukan oleh ABS yaitu 225 MPa dan 6 mm

function to offloading system and it have designed to have repair session for it
durability. To keep lifting capacity in it expected level still on going so an
adjustment to increase capability of tandem offloading system in FSO Arco
Ardjuna which required panama chock construction to support it system that
located on FSO’s stern. Panama chock construction were used as it toehold and
hawser 3’s line track that connecting FSO Arco Ardjuna with shuttle tanker.
Panama chock construction be expected can hold for itself and it environmental
load, so that a maximum local stress analysis become a must. Tension hawser 3
loads that used as it loading force measurement analysis on panama chock
construction. Tension can be identified from any movement on FSO, shutter
tanker and SPM. Based on that simulation, we could obtain maximum tension on
hawser 3 in level 2156.817 kN with safety factor 1.898 where it score is higher
than ABS’s prerequisite in 1.82. So based on loading case on panama chock
construction model with using dual loading method which occupied on stance
variation method and hawser or shuttle tanker relativity position method towards
FSO. We could have that maximum tension and deformation that occurred on
panama chock construction from stance variation method is 224.43 MPa with
0.7633 mm and hawser or shuttle tanker relativity position method towards FSO
is 223.4 MPa with 3.3129 mm. From these results we could conclude that panama
chock construction is safe to operate because it stress and deformation that could
occurred is less than threshold that ABS’s prerequisite which is in 225 MPa with 6
mm
