Abstract

PTPN XI merupakan BUMN dengan core bisnis gula yang berada di Surabaya
.PTPN XI memproduksi gula dalam bentuk bulk (karung) .Saluran distribusinya
mencakup wilayah Jawa timur untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gula di Jawa timur.
Salah satu cara untuk memenuhi keuntungan agar dapat hidup berkelanjutan PTPN
XI meluncurkan produk gula premium dengan brand Gupalas. Gupalas
didistribusikan ke seluruh jawa timur, namun dengan produk yang menyasar kaum
menengah keatas produk ini belum dikenal. Karena telah banyak pesaing di industri
gula premium Gupalas memperlukan promosi untuk memperkenalkan diri ke
masyarakat terutama ke target audiens produk Gupalas yaitu ibu muda menengah
keatas.
Solusi permasalahan ini adalah dengan merancang promosi untuk Gupalas ini
untuk memperkenalkan produk dan meningkatkan awareness masyarakat Surabaya
terutama target audiens nya ibu muda karena ibu adalah decision maker dalam
urusan kebutuhan konsumsi rumah tangga. Perancangan promosi ini mengusung
tema “sahabat manismu” dan diharapkan dapat melekat di benak audiens dimana
Gupalas adalah campuran makanan dan minuman yang tepat saat dinikmati
bersama orang tersayang. Dengan gaya visual Ilustrasi sketsa black and white
diharapkan dapat mencuri perhatian audiens dan memberikan diferensiasi terhadap
produk gula premium sejenis

Gupalas take a concerted campaign to introduce product to the citizen, especially to
the target audience of young mothers Gupalas products middleclass.
The solution to this problem is to design a promotion for this Gupalas to
introduce new products and increase the awareness of people, especially young
target audience of his mother because the mother is the decision maker in managing
household consumption. Promotion planning theme "sahabat manismu " and is
expected to stick in the minds of the audience where Gupalas is a mixture of food
and drink at the right moment with family and friends . With the visual style of black
and white sketch illustration hoped to steal the audience's attention and provide
differentiation of the premium sugar product
